What is meant by 'blue topaz color?"
I just came across this term while searching new rings and this one is available in pink amethyst, lemon quartz, and blue topaz color? Does this mean the stone is not really topaz? please advise..Be the first to write a review

I’m sorry for any confusion the wording has caused, @grandmapinktoes! The ring is real Sky Blue Topaz. It’s Round cut, 2.09ct, and the gemstones are mined in Brazil. I hope this helps and I love your Nickname!

The blue topaz is sky blue which is a very light blue. Like Sanibel mentioned, almost the color of aquamarine. I do not believe this is a synthetic since it was mined in Brazil, nor is it color enhanced. Seems to be a natural topaz. Sometimes the light blue or sky blue topaz has some white going through the stone so it looks like clouds with a light blue sky. I have enjoyed my many pieces of Bali jewelry and have yet to return any. Hope this helps with your decision.

There are 3 Blue Topaz colors too. I wonder which one they are referring to.
RE Blue Topaz: This is a popular family with three different shades of blue: Sky Blue, Swiss Blue and London Blue topaz. Sky blue is very much like aquamarine in its color range. London blue is a darker blue tone and Swiss blue is the bright, electric, more vivid blue of the three.
