Mine Find Models
I love watching as much of Jay King shows as I can. He definitely has a prestige brand and loyal customers, and it was really fun to watch his 30th anniversary shows this week.
I was especially happy to see Angie came in from Florida to model for many of his shows… she adds a lot of class and makes the jewelry the focus of each presentation. A true professional.
Then, there were the shows on Sunday. What a disservice to Jay AND customers (IMHO) to use a newer model who made it more about herself than the pieces they were showcasing.
Please, less teeth, lose the mustache, and STOP tossing your beautiful extra long hair ( yes, we all see it honey) every time the camera comes to you. Very amateurish, and very surprised no one in the control room told her to stop the hair flicking. Thank goodness, cameras didn’t linger on her too long… just enough for her routine. She has potential, but Mine Finds is not the place to practice. Maybe Connie Craig Carroll?

Obviously there was not a stylist or anyone in the control room paying attention to the model. On more than one occasion, some necklaces were crooked and disheveled looking. Doesn’t the model have some sort of a monitor where she can see what she’s modeling? Also, some necklaces were not shown correctly as they were covered by the neckline of the garment worn. I have a lot of Jay King’s jewelry. The model did a huge disservice to Jay’s jewelry and to him personally. No one deserves their product to be shown this way!
