Jay King: please STOP using French wire backs

Jay, the French wire backs are terrible. I will not purchase any of your drop earrings because of the French wires. They’re cheap, always poke me in the head, and will not stay in my ears. Please change your drop earrings to a lever back finding, your earrings deserve better.

I agree, I prefer post, omega, or lever back. However, I’ve cut some of my french wires down a bit so that the back is not quite so long. Then I use a clear plastic stopper to keep the earring from falling out.

I have tried Jay’s posts several times and they are not made long enough. They pinch my earlobe and are always too tight on me. Lever backs work well, as long as post is long enough. They are also more supportive.
