Jay King November Visit
Love Jay King and his jewelry.
I really miss the 5-in-5 segments from this visit so far. They are so fun to watch and the great buys are fun too.

It may be on today with Helen.

It was. He had many unique items this visit.

@Sanibel
Sorry that I missed Jay this visit. We are getting ready for the trip South and I just didn’t want anything by the front door prior to our arrival. I did put a few things into favorites and hopefully they won’t be sold out by the time I can order.

@oodiebom I’m so jealous of your moving south. The other day I went out & didn’t check the weather before & it was unseasonably cold @ 12 degrees.
Good luck & safe travels for your trip south.

I bought several necklaces this visit as well as in the past visit. I would love to have a business card with the purchase which includes Jay’s name on it, the stones that are in the piece as well as the size and shape of the stones, where it was mined, and the appraised value. This way I can keep it in the bag with the piece and eventually when my daughter inherits it she will know exactly what it is.
I love the 5-in-5 too! Hopefully in December.

I agree, it would be great to have the name of the mine, the country, etc. The interesting info. that he gives on t.v. should be condensed on a card with the piece. Especially since many pieces are rare or hard to find stones. I would love to have that info.

I actually have been writing things down on a small slip of lined paper. The info you need is under details on each Jay King’s piece. I fold the paper over so it fits in the bag it comes in. I know this takes an extra few minutes, but does help until Jay figures on how to idescribe each piece. The paper I use is a small notebook that you can purchase at your local dollar store. It comes either 4 or 5 in a package.

I do that too. I’ve also made printouts of the description and keep them too in a separate place. It would just look so professional to have a business card from Jay.

I absolutely agree. I also wonder if he reads any of the threads with his name.
