JAY KING NECKLACES
Another post I hope Jay gets to read! I often see necklaces I like, such as the green malachite graduated bead necklace today 2/6/22. HOWEVER, I am tired of seeing presentations of GRADUATED BEAD necklaces. I will never purchase one of Jay’s necklaces until he starts offering us a choice of same size LARGER beads. I will in fact enjoy seeing his necklaces in a variety of lengths and sizes of beads. 18” length with same size (8mm) beads … even if they cost more … would be much more attractive and interesting to me. Just cos he’s done it one way for years doesn’t mean it can’t be updated for the 21st century!

I have seen lots of Jay Kings beaded necklaces down through the years that I liked, but I did not purchase because Jay King Does Not Believe In “KNOTTING” His Necklaces! Ladies, haven’t you noticed?

I own a lot of Jay King jewelry but stopped purchasing any of his or any other jewelry on HSN except for Chaco Canyon once in awhile.
Jay king is way overpriced even on sale it’s all the same and it is also extremely inconsistent in quality.
You are ordering knowing it is going to be a hit or miss. I own several pieces I was too lazy to return but were nothing like the piece in the presentation. The stone would be dull and poor quality.
He makes all the same pieces over & over again with no imagination. When they use any imagination it is still an ugly design and blah.
That is like most of the jewelry on HSN.
Any jewelry I have purchased from HSN I don’t love and barley like except for the pieces from Chaco Canyon and I also know it is American Indians making the jewelry which is rewarding.
Jay to me is a business man with many homes and a lot of money like everyone on HSN ripping people off and his shipping has gone up also.
All these stones he has lying around for ages and paid peanuts for and then he makes a small fortune on HSN selling the same stuff over and over.
My husband hates beaded jewelry and that is 80% of what Jay makes. -
In the words of the great sage, Smokey Robinson, I second that emotion.
In addition to beads the same size rather than graduated, WE REALLY, REALLY need more necklaces that are 20″ 22″ or 24″ — BEFORE the extender. Longer ones (3 feet and longer) are a separate issue.
So many beautiful necklaces and pendants, the Turquoise pendant DIDN’T COME OFF like Host and JKing said in video, it was fixed on the amber necklace — which was SO lovely, broke my heart that I couldn’t order it because I couldn’t wear it.
Many of the more chunky necklaces, though also the Gallery Collection, are VERY gender neutral, making them perfect for gents as well as the ladies. However, I haven’t worn an 18inch necklace since about 1983 for my confirmation. So it’s not checking me AND for the option to have it hit “RIGHT” on my neck wither in and open shirt collar or over it, the flexibility of 24″ plus extender is really ideal. It”s still nice to work with 20 or 22 — the 18 is just VERY specific.
I’m fairly sure that plenty of the ladies would love a longer and more flexible length as well, though I suspect Jay and HSN have done the number crunching on that.

I also prefer graduated beads, don’t like the feel of huge beads all the way around my neck!

I prefer graduated, myself. Different tastes…
