Jay King jewelry
I’m watching Mine Finds and Jay King. Some of Jay King’s jewelry pieces are indeed very nice, however the model is wearing a dress with large blue flowers and a strange neckline. Most of the jewelry looks horrible with this dress. Even the blue jewelry looks bad. The dress is very distracting and does not enhance the jewelry whatsoever. May I suggest that future models wear something with a round neckline and in a solid plain fabric; something that will showcase each different piece of jewelry, not distract.

I still love Jay King;s designs, but I am also having trouble watching the shows. I am especially tired of his whole “take my wife, please” routine, like a bad 50s sitcom. He loves her so much but meanwhile she complains about his shirts, his turquoise, he almost sounds afraid of her and it’s SO uncomfortable to watch! Please start a journal or see a marriage counselor, but don’t subject your viewers to that. Also, he constantly mentions that he is old. Yes, Jay, we mortals are all growing older every day. Move on. Talk about the JEWELRY! Please!

I am having a tough time listening anymore to Jay King as his stories are repetitive with each piece of jewelry or stone. Everything is his special deals with one of a kind lots from areas of the world that no one can access but him! I don’t trust him anymore and his quality is nothing special in many of his pieces. His prices have gone up atstronmically to the point that many pieces make no sense because the quality is not there. His styles are the same over and over again with different stones but the same style and design. Even his supposed upscale line that he designs is lacking style/design, innovation and interest. Some of his necklaces are looking like from the “Flinstones”, the jewelty lacks sophistication and style. I think he needs to rethink his game and garb stories and put some serious work into new development and styles. I do not mean to insult but rather to stimulate him into changing his act and product. It could be a intereating line but he has cheapend it and has totally failed on new design and look. What does everyone else think? Rarities by Carol Brodie features better lapis quality and other stones and she is not a “QUARRY MASTER” as he supposedly is. She is a jewelty designer who works with many different gemstones, natural stones, gold, silve, yada yada. I just bought marachite earrings and lapis from her where the both were great quality and color!

Great idea. I always like when QVC held the jewelry against different color fabric. That helped show off the gems. I would recommend that for Jay and Heidi Daus.
