Bellezza jewelry
Does anyone know if this jewelry can get wet? What are the care instructions? I think it must be bronze, so is it an overlay or is it solid through and through? There’s absolutely no information in this line and the shows I’ve seen don’t tell this information either.

Hosts describe Bellezza as “pure bronze.” What does “pure bronze” mean? I have a nickel allergy so I’m always leery of wearing anything less than 14k gold.

Bronze is one of the earliest metals known to man. It is defined as an alloy made of copper and another metal, usually tin. Compositions vary, but most modern bronze is 88% copper and 12% tin. Bronze may also contain manganese, aluminum, nickel, phosphorus, silicon, arsenic, or zinc. The Today’s Special has goldtone or silvertone plating and sterling silver posts.

hello HSN Ladies
yes I agree. I have a whole collection of Bellezza and only positive experience with this brand. bronze is a ery sturdy material and the gold finish (14k or sometimes 18k) holds up very well. It is very well priced in my opinion. Let’s enjoy our little treasures 🙂-
I don’t think its covered in 14or 18k anymore, it used to be but now it just says goldtone or sivertone. If it was gold or platinum it would def be listed in the description. It used to be real silver covered in real gold but now its almost all bronze with a gold or silver “finish”

I’ve had a Bellezza necklace for many months and Love it. I didn;t mean to shower with it but did and since all was well, I continued to shower with it and it still looks like the day I got it. I’m not advising getting it wet but it does seem to be made very well; I just recently purchased another piece – earrings – which I also love. It’s definitely worth a try at sale prices.

it is horrible, and the host are very misleading on the quality.

The base metal of Belleza Jewelry is bronze with goldtone or silvertone finish. I wouldn’t wear it everyday. Getting it wet from washing hands with soap would probably be ok. Showering in it on a regular basis or going into a pool would attack the finish and cause it to discolor or harm the goldtone/silvertone finish.
