Bellezza jewelry tarnish problem
So many reviews of Bellezza jewelry complain about finishes coming off. Has HSN addressed this? Please be honest with customers!

I suspect the brand ambassador of this costume jewelry wouldn’t be caught dead wearing it himself, he just sells it. I can’t picture him wearing anything but the real thing as classy as he is.
He probably wears wear Bellezza now and then just for fun and that’s it. I never buy jewelry that is plated. It has no value and always tarnishes. -
sometimes the vendor will say the Bellezza pieces are Gold. then it’s Gold tone. Misleading.
i have a Bellezza bypass ring from maybe 8 years ago and i wore it to death. the plating has worn off in the back. and a bit on the edges. color is good, still wear the ring. the earlier pieces claimed to be 18k plated. not so with a ring from 2 yrs ago. that one is turning a bit brassy.

Even 22K gold plated earrings from ” Rarities” are heavily tarnished after a year. I tucked it away to give it as a gift and glad it happened in my possession. I would have been so embarrassed to give it to someone else for gift.

The reason plated jewelry like Monet from the 60’s, 70, 80’s, wore like “iron” was that there was no law back then that forbid heavy metals in jewelry. Yes, it wore forever, but laws have changed forbidding use of some metal that made the plating wear really well. FYI

It is a problem! I have stopped buying items that are plated. Remember MONET jewelry, that brand was sold in the sixties and seventies . It wore like iron , even though it was plated!
