Tried to watch. Hard Sell Sarah dethroned!
Oh my. When did it become a thing for hosts to try to convince us SEVERAL TIMES A SHOW that they “are friends in real life”???? Ty and Emily are unwatchable together – and I like Ty as a host.
But with Chelsea Scott, Emily wouldn’t let Chelsea complete a sentence without telling her SEVERAL TIMES that the Moremo has sold 600 when Chelsea talked, then she interrupted her again to say, now 800 are sold. Chelsea showed a little of the 10 second treatment – and “now 1000 are sold – I’m so afraid!” Chelsea asked why she was afraid. “Because I’m afraid it’s going to sell out!”. Uh, isn’t that kind of the point?
Emily and her dramatic speaking (“dum, dum, dummmm” should play after each time she speaks, like Debbie Downer on the old SNL skit) has dethroned Sarah Anderson as the hard sell queen. That was unwatchable. No more HSN mornings or weekends for me.

Nicole needs to take a breath and stop being rude and constantly interrupting the company rep. So rude. She must get paid by the word.

I love Sarah Andersen she is one of my favorite hosts. Emily has come a long way. The one I can’t stand the sound of her voice is Siaoming Wong. Her voice is just awful; watching her & Carol Brodie together was unreal they both have horrible voices.

I think HSN is just hard up for hosts. I do notice that Tina is an arm waver (so was Helen Keaney) – but Brynn has her beat by a mile. A couple months ago, Bryan almost took Doris Dalton out with her arms. Poor Doris had to step back and she actually looked worried, which means those claw hands and long arms were a lot closer than they appeared. I had hoped Brynn would relax her hands so they weren’t looking like literal claws when she is doing the Vanna White impression. She has not. And Jasmine is doing the Vanna impression too. She is a parody. Someone said she reminds them of a SNL skit about Shopping networks. That was so spot on. Not a good look for an Emmy winning newscaster.
Rebekah is so good. I knew she would be. She was a great vendor for Origami and whatever else they needed her for. For a minute, I thought she was going to drink the host parody kool-aid, but she brought herself back from the abyss.
Clarke has improved tenfold. These new hosts need to remember the cardinal rule of presenting. DON’T MESS WITH YOUR HAIR ON CAMERA!!!!
I haven’t seen Sarah Timm present lately. I just don’t watch HSN anymore unless there’s nothing else on or I’m checking on a presentation of something I wanted to see or a host I like.
These days, the hosts I like list keeps getting shorter. Bobbi, Adam, Tina, Rebekah, Clarke, Callie, Lesley Ann, Ty and Siaoming if they are presenting by themselves.

Good thoughts! I really liked Jasmin at first but she really must be trying to go full 180 to make people forget she was a serious journalist to kooky next door neighbor. Clarke has gotten a lot more comfortable but she is often paired with Jasmin or Sarah Timm lately and she seems almost timid because the other host is obviously sucking up to the camera with their theatrics. Really exhausting.

I hear you. I do not watch hsn if Emily is presenting or I will go on mute. I too like ty but Emily is unwatchable. She just does not appear comfortable in anything she does. I just don’t understand how HSN is not seeing what we as the viewer sees. Right now I just turned on HSN and see Tina presenting curtis Stone and hands/arms all over the plce. I have never seen anyone who cannot speak without using her hands No joke. Anyone else notice this or just me
