Sometimes silence means something else
Regarding the critiques of the “newer/new hosts”. Sometimes the silence isn’t because they have improved. Some have, some have NOT (and I’m pretty sure she never will).
Sometimes the silence is because we stopped watching when they are on. That snowballs into not watching at all, except to catch a presentation we wanted to see, only for it to be ruined by a bad host presentation.
Some of the “fan club” can call us “mean girls” all they want, but someone has to care a little that something that’s been a part of their lives forever (looking at you, millennials, GYs, GZs) or over half (Boomers, Jonesers, and GX) is going to hades in a handbag with old products, old vendors, ridiculous prices, and immature presentations.
So just because the critiques have stopped on this board doesn’t mean the hosts that are dialing it in have gotten better. We just stopped watching.

I have been watching less and less and less…..and it’s because of the new hosts. I ALWAYS watched all of the Beekman 1802 presentations because I love their products and they work very well for me. However, I’m even watching them less. This past weekend they kicked off their Holiday ‘25 items. I was able to watch Heather’s shows the first day (don’t remember the hosts but bearable) but I couldn’t deal with Josh & Brent’s shows the following day. This was due to the HSN hosts for J&B’s particular shows…especially the host at the end of the day with the reddish brown hair (Sarah Timm, I think?). I literally turned the 2 hour show off. I’m sure I will be watching even fewer shows going forward…..which is a good (money saving) thing.

You are correct! I am watching less and less.
Yesterday morning I started watching Rebekah and Jasmine. Rebekah said ‘yep’ so much I turned the channel. HSN, train these new hosts. Jasmine stood there reading her card. I could tell it was her first time reading the information….totally unprepared. Both of these hosts were unprofessional. Even Leslie, who is my favorite, talks and talks. I thought the new hosts might help me watch more but it hasn’t. We will see next month when 3rd quarter results come out.
HSN and QVC are offering free shipping more often. I’ve received 2 coupons from QVC recently. However, when they offered free shipping, one of the products I wanted was $5 more than the normal price. -
So true Sharon.. Haven’t watched or ordered in quite awhile. The plus is saving alot of money. Everything you said is so right on! The only positive thing is a few models from Florida are now on, so I guess they realized the ones they had, were that bad.

I tend to watch during the commercials for other TV shows, football games, etc. This limits my irritation of the hosts overly talking or saying WOW about a product. It is a sales presentation after all.

Where I used to listen more than watch, I now just scan the app to see what’s new, check prices against Amazon, etc, and then go on with my day. Many years ago, HSN was actually entertainment that sold stuff. It was always sales first, but it could be quite entertaining. The hosts and the guests had great rapport, the products were decently priced, flex pay always helped, and shipping was decent – free was awesome. There’s none of that now. Not even with the veteran hosts. Bobbi is trying to make the best of her last two months, but it’s obvious she would rather be in FL. The vendors based in FL are exhausted because of flights and then a packed schedule of hits so they can get as much done as possible before they leave.
I looked at the schedule about a week ago, and there were TWO veteran hosts on – all the rest were new. One veteran was doing the TS and the other was Adam and one of his many end of day shows. I knew it wasn’t gonna be worth my time to even turn on the channel.
It just isn’t working, and that is a real shame.

So true..Sad that its come to this..

Well said. I stopped any critique simply because I stopped watching. I have ordered once in a while (vitamins, cosmetics, etc.), but that’s it. Most of my orders are orders on auto delivery and trusted items. I miss the old HSN. Missing it will not bring it back. I stopped doing business with QVC years ago after many purchases. I got so very tired of some of the hosts coming across like they are so much more superior than the customers. Anyway, I continue to purchase what is on auto delivery thru HSN, but not taking a chance on anything new.

Sorry that they have lost you guys. I am now watching and ordering more from HSN than I do from QVC. Things are not as bad as yall are describing.

@creekgirl334 you are entitled to your opinion and I’m glad you are enjoying the HSN PA. May i ask how long you’ve been shopping with HSN (and the Q)? I wonder if a lot of the likes and dislikes of HSN PA has to do with how long people have been shopping with the channels.
I quit shopping on the Q completely probably 10 years ago. Don’t miss it at all. I only watch their ITKW shows on Sat and Sun mornings, and even those are old and moldy, and the “illustrious David Venable” is completely off his game and calling it in. -
I agree. The QVC hosts, many of them, are unwatchable. The behave like they are some kind of “influencers” and “stars”. Many of them have “lost the plot” as the saying goes. I always liked HSN and find myself watching more. I am willing to give the new hosts, models and production staff time to settle in and refine their presentations.

I have been shopping with HSN from day one.Not happy with the new hosts and the model situation is not much better. The ambassadors I can take in small doses and Marla Wynne’s daughter is dreadful.
