This was a month ago! Interesting that you came across this very brief exchange. I appreciate your comment. Opinions are fine. There is a way to communicate your feelings without yelling at people doing their job (all caps = yelling). While my response to her initial post may have been a bit harsh, the truth is that no one deserves to be insulted the way nkr1 did to Ms. Machado for doing her job. She could have said: “I love Curtis Stone and watching his presentations. Sometimes I feel like hosts say too much. I would prefer it if he were allowed to speak.” The same message but it is not degrading. Sometimes people need to hear that their behavior (especially when anonymous – i.e. trolling) is not ok. Be clear that there is a difference between not being eloquent and being a mean bully (troll).

And before you throw out another “pot meet kettle” comment, I am by no means trolling nkr1, I am calling her out on her behavior (agreed it was a bit stinging). I know this is “simply hilarious” to you, but when you ignore bad behavior, bad behavior gets worse. For someone that uses woke language – “THEY”, you would think that you would understand this. And by the way, @kelscuddles agreed with me, nkr1 was the one that I “lectured”. So I agree, @kelscuddles is fine just the way she is. I too hope she has a good. I also hope that nkr1 has a great day. I just hope that she learns that words matter and no matter where you come from you can speak kindly to people and when you don’t, expect to hear about it. It is 2023.
