Look who’s leaving HSN…..😱
The Home Shopping Network is saying goodbye to many longtime staples.
As the network prepares to move from its current headquarters of nearly 50 years in St. Petersburg, FL, and relocate to sister network QVC’s location in West Chester, PA, nine of HSN’s television hosts will depart.
“Over the coming months, we will be saying farewell to Natasha Lloyd, Helen Keaney, Amy Morrison, Lynn Murphy, Marlo Smith, Valerie Stup, Rebecca Vargas, Michelle Yarn, and Guy Yovan,” HSN shared in a May 9 Facebook post, before adding, “At the end of the year, we will celebrate Bobbi Ray Carter’s retirement after 42 years!”
But amid the slew of departures, the network confirmed that many familiar faces will remain as they make the move to Pennsylvania.
“As we gear up to go live at our new studios in West Chester, PA, we’re thrilled to announce that Sarah Anderson, Debbie Denmon, Adam Freeman, Nicole Hickl, Tamara Hooks, Tina Jennings, Emily Lampa, Ty Mayberry, Callie Northagen, Suzanne Runyan, and Siaoming Wong will continue to be part of our HSN family,” the post continued, “maintaining the cherished connections we have with our customers.”

I don’t have facebook so thank you for this update. Does anyone know when HSN will be moving? On a different note, I think Guy’s voice and Lynn’s are shot. Everyone is getting older. I thought Michelle is the best host they have but she isn’t making the move.

I will really miss Guy. I thought he might make the move since his son, Danny, is out of the house now but in his previous career, he was in the restaurant business. May be he will do something like that in the Clearwater/St. Pete area. Or just enjoy retirement in the lovely sunshine! I am surprised Lynn Murphy isn’t going since she was originally from PA. Wishing all the HSN and QVC hosts and staff well during these changes and the layoffs. I do hope that the two brands and their individual products lines remain because there is definitely a difference between HSN and QVC. But that is unlikely in the long run.

I am not thrilled with most of the hosts coming to PA. I do like Callie and I am glad she will continue. I will miss Guy and Marlo and some of the others staying in FL. It feels like we are saying good-bye to old friends. I recognize they are hosts doing their jobs and not friends, but they have come into our homes for years. I will miss seeing them, but life goes on, I guess. I wish all them well and hope that HSN will continue.

marlo Smith has been absent from HSN for at least one year or longer. she has been gone do to personal reasons I don’t think I’m allowed to post why. I wish marlo smith all the best.

I agree with everything you just said. Thank you.
-
Yeah we haven’t seen Marlo in almost a year so I knew most likely she wouldn’t be going😢 And I will really miss Guy too!! I agree with you that it does feel like old friends are leaving!

Is this going to be called QVC/HSN? They will probably eventually get rid of HSN.
They got rid of Zulilly.
-
Is Colleen staying?
-
She said she’s not moving but will still do presentations a couple of times a month! 😊 so she’ll travel back and forth!

I imagine most of the women who want to work could get jobs as reps. Amy will probably be a representative for Lancome.
I can see Michelle and Valerie as beauty reps.
Helen and Guy are my favs so I probably won’t watch much any more.
I don’t see this as a positive move. It will probably be the demise of HSN. ..sadly!
I wish the best to all who are moving. Change can be exciting.-
I never even considered the idea of Amy joining the Lancome team but after reading your comment and watching her doing the Lancome show right now, I can definitely see that 100%! Maybe they will consider something like that…. I could see them snatching Amy up! That seems like it would be the perfect fit for her!😊💞

Amy staying behind didnt surprise me at all, she has her teen son to think about and her parents are near her in FL. Also she and her hubby custom built their dream home in FL just a year ago ,I would never expect her to give that up just yet.
Colleen will remain as a vendor either by remote or in person
I think some of the hosts staying in FL will get jobs at local TV stations. Helen will devote more time to her stand up comedy act. -
Agree!! I will really miss Amy but I couldn’t imagine her leaving FL either…. she’s putting family 1st☺️ I wish her all the best!!

I prefer to think of it as HSN is leaving and some people are staying behind. I’m guessing they didn’t want to uproot their families.
-
I’m not in the know as much on these boards, so what about Colleen? Is she a vendor now or did she quit?
-
Not thrilled about sone that are staying, but I’m bummed that Michelle, Guy, Helen, Marlo, and Amy aren’t going, and I can only HOPE that Bobbi isn’t being forced into retirement because of the move transition. Change happens and life goes on. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. I think I’m expecting to see some more ShopHQ hosts join the HSN family in PA. Maybe some on-air vendors turning into hosts?

I’m happy to hear Adam and Suzanne are staying. Shocked Amy is not. Always sad to hear people are leaving, hope they all find great jobs.
-
I will NOT be watching HSN very much at all anymore then. I was wondering whether Amy Guy Helen and some others were staying or not since I had not heard them mention anything about it when I watched. I guess it really is true that all good things must come to an end. So disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I know it’s so disappointing…. won’t seem the same!!
