Hosts Leaving in June
So far, I’ve seen Facebook goodbyes from Robin Wall, Connie Craig-Carroll and Brett Chukerman. Please let us know if anyone sees any others. I will be sorry to see them go. Sometimes, change is good – sometimes, it’s just change – and sometimes, it’s hard to understand.

I wonder why so suddenly all at the same time. I didn’t see that Brett Chuckerman was leaving too until you said something. I’ve noticed a little tension with some shows at certain times, but it has been with other hosts since I have missed the shows with these three on lately.

Wow, Connie and Robin are leaving? That is terrible, must have to do with the QVC takeover and what shows they are having to host since there is less clothes and jewelry. . I am so sad to see them leave.

WoW! I am really sorry to hear this and very surprised especially that Connie is leaving! What did they give for their reasons? I’m sure the reason is QVC. My husband said a while back they would be losing the hosts next. I’m sad to see them go, I really am. 🙁

I will miss watching Connie with Jay King. They were fun together, but alas the fun is gone anyway. No more watching HSN for me. I use to buy so much, I would get Christmas cards from Mindy Grossman.

I know, Jay and Connie are such a natural fit! I love her with Anthony (of Michael Anthony jewelry) too! RJ Graziano is barely ever here anymore but I always enjoyed his pairing with Connie. I love Robin with Bellezza and I love Brett during the Football Fan Shop shows. We are both Chicago Bears fans.
It hasn’t been the same since Mindy Grossman left but especially since they teamed up with QVC. Big mistake. I used to get Christmas cards from Mindy Grossman too! 😀 They need to get her back to fix this mess.

I am wondering if their contracts were up and they were offered a much lower salary. Then again, it seems that QVC is purchasing more and more beauty products with less emphasis on fashion and jewelry. Also wonder what is happening with Bill Green. I really miss him as a host.

I just realized I posted that they were leaving this month. It appears it will be NEXT month, during HSN’s birthday. No idea why they are leaving – I could say it’s QVC, it’s the end of their contract, etc…but they are the only ones who know and it’s only their business.
@oodiebom, Bill Green is a vendor rep now for Sevilla Silver (and maybe Technibond – not sure if that’s current info or not.

I used to get a holiday card from Mindy too. Maybe they sent them to customers who spent tens of thousands of dollars a year. which I no longer do since she is gone.

I will sure miss Connie! But I haven’t been watching HSN as much lately.
I got started watching Evine because Nicky Butler went there. I have to say, I enjoyed watching Evine.
The only time I watch the Q is for American West / Carolyn Pollack. But I don’t care much for the Q’s hosts.

I just found Victoria Wieck on Evine. HSN has really changed and not for the better.

What a surprise to learn that these hosts are leaving. Who will be next? More vendors maybe?
I don’t feel the hosts of the other channels come close to the quality that HSN hosts have.
I have surfed the other channels but there is no comparison. I sometimes try to watch the Q if there is nothing else on. I like HSN’s format much better. I find it much easier to understand.
I did see the other day that a Q host, sorry I don’t recall her name, was leaving after 25 years. -
WoW!!!!! Connie and Brett are leaving too? Im stunned that Robin Wall is gone now. At least as a host. I think she said her very last day is July 1st. But shes already left as an on air host.If Bobbi Ray Carter leaves and Colleen Lopez I probably wont watch much at all. And especially Amy Morrison and Helen Keaney. I adore them all. Boo Hoo! What is really annoying is we are left in the dark. Im only human and I like to know a little something about whats going on,you know? I always preferred hsn , the set and the format and hosts to qvc. Sorry but for me it was easier and more fun to watch. If qvc would take a page or 2 or 3 from them i might like watching their shows more often. I liked Lisa Robertson on qvc and she left.

I watch HSN less and less. I have wasted SO much money on skin care that, after purchasing, found contain parabens, harmful chemicals, etc. etc. M. Asam is on now raving about resveratrol in his products and I don’t see that listed as an ingredient. That makes me angry. I will miss Connie and Brett. I have tried to watch QVC, but their audio is so messed up. If someone speaks or laughs louder than usual, the sound goes up by 10 decibels. I even sent a message asking they fix it. Of course, no response. I think I’m done with TV shopping….mainly because of my experience with their skin care claims! I want to scream at the man on there right now!!! People are falling for it. Research peeps!

I’m wondering if HSN will be relocating to PA and that is the reason why they are leaving. Most of the hosts have been in Florida for years and relocating may not be an option.

Relocating could be a possibility. They cut out the live overnight shows so several hosts had to go. They kept Tina and Debbie as they are new hires with the lowest salaries. Robin seem to indicate more changes are coming. I think she said we would like them. If next quarter results don’t show a profit, not sure how happy anybody will be.

My hubby and I were wondering the same thing! I wonder if Robin’s husband is leaving too since he works behind the scenes at HSN. Whatever the reason, I am very sad to hear of these hosts leaving. QVC has NOT been good for HSN. A comment below said HSN is not happy anymore. I remember when HSN used to ship in boxes that said HSN was a happy place and that this package was happy to see you! Very sad.

It is sad to see the hosts go. I think the parent company is just cutting more costs. I do see more things merging with QVC and more layoffs in Tampa or relocations to Pennsylvania. I have a hunch that Connie may move to Tennessee and host for JTV. Again, just a hunch.
What I dislike is the duplicate vendors on both networks to gain more business and cut warehouse costs and the overall increase in prices.
I definitely watch and buy a lot less than I did 6 months ago.
