Helen Keeney
What can you do to get rid of Helen Keeney. The incessant cackling everything is so funny. There is nothing serious about her. That is why I will not buy anything from her if you are constantly laughing at a product what does that relay? If everything so darn funny then quit HSN and do your comedy enough is enough unhappy buyer

I like Helen but i do think she is beginning to gloat a little bit about how good she looks. And i would like to see Shannon Smith come back as a host. I did see her on Guy Yovans food show but i wish she was back.Helen is a keeper though i must say. If she and Amy Morrison left i doubt if i would watch very much.

Teresalintn reading your post brought back uncomfortable memories of the year I turned 62! I began having some health issues, gaining weight, (as it appears Helen has as well) & worse yet seeing the weight moving to places I didnt want! Self esteem took a hit, & I recall that for a while, I too, I guess to use your word, began to gloat a bit. The compliments on my looks & shape had ceased, & guess I said those things not to gloat, but I guess really to help my plummeting self esteem.. Quite the adjustment realizing I was old!! At 74, now,I have realized the alternative to growing old, and am grateful for all my scars, wrinkles, good doctors, decent clothing for fat women, and doing lots of good deeds to be certain to “earn my ticket to heaven”

Sherryrose, I am right there with you. The alternative to growing old is not something we wish for. We are so much more than our looks (or should be). I actually like being post-menopausal as I don’t have to worry about that monthly visitor anymore (haha …. TMI). I think the year I realized that I am “old” is the year that I started getting medicare (big grin). We just need to relax and concentrate on enjoying life as it presents itself and refuse to fall for society’s ideas of “how” a woman should be/look. I never allowed anybody to tell me “who I am” or “how I should be” and I am sure NOT going to allow it now. Enjoy your week, sherryrose (and all of you), okay.

Renegade007 I think you are awesome. Curious if you would want an online friend? All of mine have predeceased me. Gets lonely at times. If you are blessed still having friends/family still living, I get it, however, if like me with all gone, do feel free to contact me @ Sherryrose190p@yahoo.com.

Funny ….. That’s exactly what I think of you! YOU are the one who is awesome! Thank you. You truly are a sweetheart.

The hosts are a variety of personalities, something for everyone. Why try to “get rid” of someone just because you don’t like her when millions of others enjoy her?
-
I like Helen, personally I’d get rid of Marlo. Was watching Joys compression sock video and Marlo was with that tall nice lady that was the guest. Every time the lady said something Marlo would instantly talk over her. What is with Marlo these days she is actually very strange for awhile now and yet they got rid of Leslie (I think that was her name) and keep Marlo.

I miss Shannon Fox & Leslie.

I like Helen. I loved Leslie. She was on the other morning presenting a beauty product. It might have been Serious Skin Care. She looked great and she has a nice voice. Bring Leslie back!

I actually like Helen. I don’t know her personally, but I am betting that she is a real sweetheart! When she was promoting Lancome Genifique the other day, I was absolutely shocked when she said that she is 62 years old. I thought Helen was in her early forties!!! She stated that she has been using Genifique since 2008 or 2009 (can’t remember exactly what year she mentioned). Guessing that Lancome Genifique, her family genetics, and her beautiful sense of humor are all factors in keeping her so young!!! She can be an inspiration for the rest of us (big grin)! 🙂
-
Agreed! Just like I agree with all who are positive toward her. She has a daughter, that may help to keep her young. And I do think she would be a great friend to have.

Helen is a great host, love her bubbly personality !!!

Helen has a sense of humor. She has another career as a stand-up comic.
She’s real. The other hosts are annoying sales robots. -
I also like
because she does give all of the details of an item EVEN THOUGH I THINK THAT SHE TALKS TOO MUCH AND OVER THE GUESTS!She is honest and she is doing this at my age also (which I just learned). She also looks darn good for her age! I think that she is in the right job since she does talk a lot! Lastly, she s always upbeat!
-
I too like Helen. She is upbeat & I would certainly rather listen to her than jane talk incessantly & tell stories about her kids or dead parents. Her moms red purse, her dads recliner on & on. Ugh.
Helen seems a happy, light hearted person. -
Did your parents ever teach you that if you cannot find something good in a person, then keep it to yourself. Maybe you should try standing in front of a camera, with a microphone knowing that there are millions of people watching every move you make and listening to your presentation. It is not an easy feat to say the least, and sometimes gets harder the next time you are on air. I happen to enjoy the hosts. I like when they smile and laugh. It lifts me up when I feel down. I just wish the negativity would stop. You don’t like it, then either change the channel or put it on mute.
-
Shame on you you should look in the mirror. You’re speaking to a professional who speaks and has been in front of millions of people shame on you.
-
You should look in the mirror and practice what you preach. You’re talking to a professional shame on you.

I so disagree! Helen is one of the few hosts that I will watch. To each her own! So many hosts are so full of themselves. I am a size 0. I wear an extra extra small. Who cares? Helen comes across as real to me. Also, her voice is pleasant. I won’t watch several hosts because their voices are like nails on a chalkboard. HSN, please keep Helen. If you don’t like her, don’t watch.
