Defective Coins/Return Fees
I bought 4 sets of the 250 anniversary coins (Dimes and Half Dollars) All were VERY poor quality and had defects, but when I returned, they charged me a return fee of $22.76 when their Policy states YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED RETURN FEES ON DEFECTIVE ITEMS, needless to say I will never shop HSN again. I’m sure HSN doesn’t care about customer loyalty. I’m just 1 lost customer, they have plenty of replacement buyers!!!

I am so sorry you were not refunded for the original shipping charges. They have been refunded. $22.76 will process within 72 business hours to your original payment method. Thank you for being a valued customer.

I don’t purchase coins on HSN, but I do enjoy listening to Mr Mike when he is on air. The only coins I buy are silver dollars and they are available elsewhere for less money. You can’t go wrong buying old silver coins in good condition. 5 Yrs ago I paid around $50 each for a few Morgans and now the price of silver has doubled.

Was it 939-964?
Terms say “All coin items considered for return must be in their original condition as sold. Seals and cases contribute to the value of the coin and currency collectibles and must remain intact and unbroken.” I hope you didn’t open them?
Also, I find it curious that this item is is not for sale to customers in Minnesota.I encourage everyone to buy your coins directly from the US Mint, or from reputable coin dealers. Not TV.

You needed to contact them prior to the return they would have waived the return shipping fee and if the customer care rep made a mistake and you were charged in error HSN’s customer service is excellent they would have credited you the shipping. There are a few bad apples but that is in everything. HSN’s customer service is really great they are the best.

Did you contact Customer Service? Might be easier before you start complaining to the executives and FCC.

Contact HSN/QVC’s Executive Offices. There are fairly strict Federal rules through the FCC about what can be said on television about products and refunds. You might also be able to challenge your credit card payment on these grounds.
