I think it’s hit or miss with shipping times at HSN. I just received a Vince Camuto blouse yesterday that I received within 2-3 days yet my Giuliana purchase is still in SC.
I’m cutting back on my purchases too but it has little to do with shipping charges or time – it has to do with most of my fave vendors no longer being here. At least there is still Vince Camuto, Sam Edelman, Lancome, Dr. Nassif skincare and Carol’s Daughter. I am still waiting for Iman’s fall return.
Waiting a week for a pkg. to be delivered is no bother to me. Amazon is pretty quick (I only buy books, music or cat towers there) and Zappos is 24 hr delivery with free shipping and returns. I do miss the days of $3.50 shipping/rest for half or free but it doesn’t stop me from buying a product if I really want or need it. I think that is key for me though – less impulse buying and that’s good!

Because they’re not slave drivers like amazon. I wait for free shipping days for most items but I am not nieve to think it won’t take close to a week. I’m a 30yo male and realize I’m not the target demo for HSN but I appreciate the salesmenship, interest-free flexpay and added bundled items in most products. So I continue to shop here. Not everything is about instant gratification.

My shipping time is approximately 9 days in Florida. I’ve noticed the item will post as has been delivered and it comes the next day or two. In Georgia my packages are coming with less shipping time 5 days. I have decreased the amount I buy because of higher shipping costs and waits. If the item has a lower price sometimes the shipping is higher. No more 3.50 and no more buy one get next item half off shipping from HSN. So, I’m not buying as much. In fact I’ve significantly decreased the amount I’m spending on either network.
