What No Crickets? Silence says it all!
No celebratory bon voyage party?
Just had a bio-film major film out, who could pay for that type of press?
Hmmm. It wasn’t in the plans of Joy, She was sidewiped.
They dropped Her unceremoniously because of the bottom line.
Her mini factory and staff cost Hsn too much after the merger.
She’s a casualty of costs and benefits.
The HSN Guy who bought QVC did so out of pure fear!
AMAZON was going to buy QVC, that’s what was in the pipeline.
And To keep out this scary manmouth out of squashing HSN or QVC and prevent AMAZON get a competing up and running tv shopping market,
HSN GUY bought QVC to save his skin…and kill the competition.
JOY MANGANO was HSN and vice versa.
They were a symbiotic brand.
HSN has no new personalities or brands to set themselves apart.
Weick Ming Mangano Iman etc
everyone has apple, hp, etc. and how many orgami steel shelves do you need?
HSN has started its death knoll.
In the long term, HSN Guy, is hoping for the next “Next”
we will see,
but lets see if He doesn’t sell out this merged HSNQVC to Amazon
once He streamlines them and makes them more profitable.
BC I am sure there will be a AMAZON SHOPPPING NETWORK
as a competitor or as the buyer/owner of newly named HSN-QVC.
BC AMAZON has the bucks and the muscles.

@skingirl13 – Good Lord is RIGHT, yikes…
@kirstanuci – I honestly cannot understand what you wrote, nor can I read between the lines or figure out the lines between points A to B.I don’t doubt you are a lovely person, but I need cliff notes to understand what your comment means. I get lost easily maybe that’s why. 😉
Nonetheless, it’s not important – so, in the spirit of what is – I wish you a very Happy Healthy & Prosperous New Year.
Be Well and let 2020 be YOURS. -
What are you talking about?????? HSN did not buy QVC. QVC did not buy HSN. Both HSN and QVC are owned by the parent company, Qurate Retail Group. Good Lord!!!!
