Using affiliate links
Has anyone else been told by HSN not to use affiliate links because they can’t guarantee their safety as they run via third party sites? In addition I was notified anyone who runs a group and uses them was obligated to let the members know that is was going via a third party hence potentially selling your information. This came from HSN so am not sure if anyone else has any information? Thank you

loralei, I think what you read is a disclaimer. It’s something I am seeing at most websites, usually upon your arrival. I think it’s being done because of the scammers and for those who are able to obtain your information that may include your credit cards, and other personal information. This is also because HSN is on many of the social groups such as Facebook where you think you are safe because the management on the other end is protecting you. Today, nothing is sacred. You need to be your own good buddy.
