I just received my letter 3 days ago and my bill is due today. I thought I was doing something wrong with my account but found out I wasn’t. According to customer service there will be no late fees for 60 days or until I register my new card which can be here between now and October. I hope this is true and they stand behind their word. We shall see.
Thanks for the info I did just that last night and was able to make my payment. I don’t know why the cs lady didn’t tell me that, but for some reason I tried as a first time user and went right through. Thank you again
Oh great, glad you were able to sign in (sign up again) and do so! You know, I’m not sure, some reps are not always as familiar with what can and cannot be done, that’s why you have to sometimes request a supervisor to get certain things handled. I also believe that many customers when are getting new cards, so the assumption is that you have to wait until the new card comes in to do anything with the account, but that’s simply not true. Also, check with Synchrony, as they have a longer time for accepting payments on the day your payment is due. For instance, Comenity’s cut off time online was 8:00 p.m. (Eastern) on your due date, however, Synchrony allows up to 11:59 p.m. (Eastern) on your due date, although I would not encourage anyone to wait that late in the evening to pay. But just in case something happens or comes up, it’s always nice to know there’s a little bit of wiggle room 😉 Hope this info helps as well 😀
You can still log into your account and create a new online account on the synchrony website for hsn. You can access and sign up for a new online account with using your old HSN card, all of your info will populate once you create your online acct with HSN/Synchrony.
