This Breaks my heart so much.
I have been shopping on HSN for 20+ years. I love all the vendors Heidi Daus, Colleen Lopez, Iman, Dianne Gilman, Giuliana g, Marla Wynn, Sharif, Wolfgang Puck, Cuisinart, Patricia Nash, Antthoney Designs, the list is endless…..And it (St. Petersburg) is coming to an end as we know it. The merge with QVC will still not make it the same. I am grieving and in shock about all of this. Economics, high tariffs and the high cost of property insurance probably played into all of the decision for this heartbreaking change. I loved my HSN family. All the beautiful hosts. Margo, Debbie D, Colleen Lopez, The list is endless. So many years with so many, many memories of a wonderful shopping experience that I truly loved. I shopped every week for my whole household.I had so many favorite vendors that I adored. I loved the flexpay option that helped me finance every purchase and in the 25 years of being a faithful customer I am still and always will be a Loyal customer until they completely close everything. I pray that does not happen for many many years ahead. May God bless and prosper HSN. May all affected by the change that has caused stress may you be comforted, encouraged and reassured that God will make a way for you….♡♡♡

Heidi Daus is my favorite; I sure hope to see her in the new location. Heidi is wonderful and I have many of her pieces.

Hsn should stay in Florida, please keep the same host’s, find somewhere else in Florida where to
Locate at -
when are they leaving and who is going to go to Pennsylvania.

I think I heard Suzanne made a referral to “HSN North” last night. I’m happy to see her pivot and adapt. So, it’ll be okay. Change is inevitable.
-
The HSN north was a comment regarding Joy Mangano’s set up. She calls it HSN North. I assume she had a contract that she would not have to travel to FLA to present and as she is a money maker for the brand and company assumed they agreed. Andrew Lessman appears to be the same, rarely have I seen him make a personal appearance in studio lately. I will say this, while COVID hit and defined our work space it is clear that they did with success be able to “remotely” present so I personally see no issue with not being there on site. It is costly to bring people in for a short presentation, including hotel stays, etc. Hopefully they will use some of their legacy hosts that I think most of us enjoy watching to operate this way.

I hope they continue to carry Perlier
-
Yes, I love Perlier. Been buying since it sold in Macys in the late 60s. At that time they were only selling the white almond but oh what a beautiful scent.

Each company has its own brands and different customer base, so they will coexist for quite some time. They are, like other companies, tightening their belts because retail sales have gone down since the record highs of pandemic sales, and with inflation and tariffs, consumers are pulling back. If they have less overhead, like two TV and call centers combining, it is a smart move. That said, since they no longer do overnight live programming in either QVC or HSN, some hosts will lose their jobs permanently. Fingers crossed, some of our favorite Florida hosts will continue on since they really do feel like family to us!
-
Maybe if they were not branching out to QVC2 3 and HSN etc. to all the streaming platforms they could focus their regular programming!!! Just my thoughts, I can’t fathom that a Floridian would have excitement about moving to where winter months can be brutal – well unless they are from the north originally –

HSN is not merging with QVC. They will still be two separate companies. QVC has a lot of empty studios, which HSN will use, but they are separate companies. Hopefully, some of your favorite hosts will move up to PA.
-
I’m noticing some random, limited quantity items showing up. I think HSN is cleaning out the cupboards.
-
I was under the impression they were just moving to PA to share their very large building but the vendors and some of the hosts would stay on. I did not hear they were closing their doors this is news to me.
HSN was just supposed to be filming the show out of PA and it’s because of all the major storms and them having to not film for a few days at a time and this will save them a lot of money.-
You’re right!! They are moving to Pennsylvania and will still have their regular programming! Just in a new state and some hosts will go and some will stay in FL…
-
However, I will add that while alot of the actual vendors will still present their products, the ones that we see on air that present multiple lines and work for HSN like the Bear Paws lady for example, those probably won’t move or be used…. from what i understand, they will have ones that QVC already uses up in Pennsylvania. Like the tech guy they have, etc…. But if it is someone that actually works for the company they are representing, those should be the same I think.

Well said mookie457

They have given the entire store to Kim Gravel Andi am not happy.
-
I just can’t watch her at all. I also noticed she is doing makeup too so I end up not watching. I think her products (clothes are more expensive then items I can get in my local Macys without shipping and waiting and not being able to try on).
-
I am sick of her. They have given her products to sell in every category. She is their spokeswoman over at QVC. As far as I am concerned the distribution center is already shipping from PA headquarters.I ordered the Sequin TSV from G by Guiliana and it was stuffed in a cheap plastic bag and was wrinkled upon arrival. This is very QVC, which will smash and ship anything no matter what in cheap plastic bags. HSN always shipped products with care. The nonsense is in full effect. I buy from both channels so I know what I am talking about. They have gotten rid of several hosts at QVC so I am sure some of the heavy hitters at HSN will make the move if they want to continue their career at Qurate. There are no jobs in Florida and the QVC headquarters is quite nice.

Yes and even though the weather is alot different during the winter months, the town of West Chester is so charming and pretty
it’ll definitely be an adjustment but some are actually from up north so it’ll be a little easier of an adjustment for them. I can’t wait to hear who is going and who isn’t….

I am sorry you feel sad. It saddens me, too, when any store (online or in store) closes that has treated me well. Remember, though. These people are not our friends. They may seem that since you see them everyday in your home., but they are only employees of a company. If they were not getting paid to be there, they would not. I have been a customer since 1989 on both channels. I did most of my shopping with HSN because their prices were more reasonable. I knew things would change when they were combined. I feel bad if any of them lose their jobs, but people in my family lost their jobs over the years. It is the way of the world. They will land on their feet. Sometimes these things have a way of working out better for them. I hope so. In the meantime, enjoy the time you have. Think positive thoughts about what is to come. Change is not always bad.
