STOP. With the elevator music during presentations

I agree, I thought a radio had turned on while I wasn’t looking. WHY would they do that?

I truly agree that the additional music is very distracting. On some days, I go to other programs on my computer for several hours so I do not have to listen to the music that interrupts the host who is trying to sell a product for HSN. As an educator and formerly a part-time worker at JCPenney for more than ten years, I learned that these extra features of music disrupt one’s concentration. I believe that HSN decided to try something new, but I honestly know that it is more of a negative addition versus a positive feature. When a person is listening to the music, that person is not concentrating on the product features.
