Sad, sad news..
Suzanne Somers has passed away at 76. I’m in shock and will add more to this in a few..
She was such a health nut. I thought she would last much longer than her husband. So sad..😥😢😭

I hope this is not removed. Suzanne’s love and light will resonate with us all forever. She and Alan literally saved my life with their vitamin recommendations.i still wear the necklace and earrings,
“Alan’s Dream.” I hope HSN realizes soon what she did for them. -
I remember watching Colleen and Suzanne get into silly mode whilst selling jewelry and watching with my mom….Very sweet memories. I don’t think the viewers ever had closure, like was there a falling out, or why did she leave?
Years later, I read her book called Keeping Secrets and was suprised to see another side of her. Brave , vulnerable, and courageous!
In my youth, we could never afford one of her coveted trilliant cut pieces. Maybe a year ago, I found one of her pieces on ebay and treated myself.
I’ll dust it off and wear it on behalf of my mom who passed years ago and was named, Susan, and in honor of Suzanne’s life and contribution.

I cut my post short because I had to go help a neighbor with something last night.
I wanted to say, I’m so glad you found a trilliant on eBay. And wear it in honor of your late mom, and Suzanne, too. That’s lovely.
I bought a clear trilliant necklace and 2 matching bracelets, in silver, on sale at HSN in summer 2000. It was a good sale; especially the bracelets. I still have them, and still wear them. I really wanted the violet trilliants, but they were beyond my budget, too. I find I wear less jewelry (with the exception of rings) than I did 20+ years ago.
Anyway, it’s nice to have a piece of Suzanne’s jewelry to remember her by. I wish she could have beaten the cancer this time around 💔. I hope her journey is full of love and light, and that her family feels the love she left for them. -

There was no falling out between Suzanne and Colleen. They were business friends. Mindy Grossman got rid of Suzanne, among others, to make the channel more “youthful”. Getting rid of Suzanne was a huge mistake.
I liked her, and enjoyed her presentations, no matter who hosted her. Colleen and Bobbi left lovely tributes to her on their Facebook pages. May she rest in peace, and love to her family, especially Alan and Bruce.

It is so sad. She seemed ageless, even after her breast cancer years ago. She had beaten it 20+ years ago, but in an interview earlier this year she said she had been out of sight for awhile because she fell at home in 2022 and broke several bones, did p.t. and rehab and was doing well…then this past July said cancer was back but that she was beating it back down. It must have really moved fast this time. So sorry she didn’t beat it again but was happy that her son, stepkids, hubby and grandkids were all with her. Her book Keeping Secrets, changed my outlook on life. I will always admire her and smile remembering her pajama parties with Colleen. RIP, may her memory be a blessing.

DEFG, I am so sorry to hear this. Her home that she loved so much went on sale just a short time ago and I wondered why. I now have the answer. She took pains to eat and cook right. Sold her own vitamins on another shopping channel, but her jewelry was and still is so fashionable. I will forever remember the laughter and tears she brought to HSN with Colleen. The shows in Las Vegas and the cruises will never be forgotten either. May she RIP.

Oh my gosh…. this is a total shock. I did not see that coming at all… have fond memories watching her and Colleen every time the two ladies were presenting jewelry and having a blast.. and the pretty pajama parties…
my goodness. this is really sad. -
NY Times said she died of cancer . I enjoyed her and Colleen selling jewelry. RIPSuzanne❤️
-
Sad news for sure. I remember how much fun she was to watch on HSN, especially with Colleen. Laughing so hard, until one of them snorted a laugh. RIP Suzanne
-
Incredibly sad. Some people you just see as somewhat invincible. My thoughts to those at HSN and other TV shopping who knew her. She was so talented and so very driven.

She has been battling breast cancer for many years..Very sorry to read that she has passed away.

Suzanne Somers had the best selling product on HSN history with her beautiful bracelet!! Can’t they come out and say something wonderful about her? People tuned into your show to watch her. Suzanne was on there for many years with Colleen Lopez as host. Come on Colleen get out there and say anything about this spectacular woman that you knew!!

I agree and was thinking the same thing.
Very disappointed in HSN for saying nothing.
She was a bright light and always made me smile. 💔😢 -
I too was really surprised HSN had done nothing to acknowledge Suzanne’s passing. She was their Star for many years. The PJ parties with Coleen and all the laughter they brought to us. I would have thought them to be good friends and all we have is silence.🥲

Unbelievable😒
I believe People News is free online. Just Google it.. -
Hi DEFG-Everyone… Possibly Copyright (?) Infringement? You tried anyway. NICE OF YOU TO REMEMBER regardless. BEAUTIFUL Suzanne will ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED for her TALENTS; STANDING UP FOR WOMEN’S EQUALITY; ALL HER MANY PRODUCT LINES; CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MEDICAL FIELD *AND* WOMEN’S HEALTH; AND WHO COULD EVER FORGET-The Thigh Master (-smile) … BUT MOST OF ALL … HER BEAUTIFUL SOUL! The WORLD was TRULY BLESSED. Suzanne WILL BE SO DEARLY MISSED BUT NEVER EVER FORGOTTEN-THE WORLD WAS MORE BEAUTIFUL WITH HER IN IT-AND-MORE BEAUTIFUL AFTER BECAUSE AND WITH ALL HER BEAUTIFUL CONTRIBUTIONS. RIP BEAUTIFUL WOMAN-YOU WERE A TRUE CLASS ACT…
