Because you are among our best customers, I wanted to let you know about an upcoming change we are making to our return policy regarding shipping and handling, and I wanted to make sure that you heard this news directly from me. Effective June 1, 2023, we will be refunding the original shipping and handling charges only if the return reason is due to a mistake on our part, such as the receipt of damaged or defective merchandise.
I know many are experiencing the inflationary pressures of the current economy, and HSN is not immune. In order for us to continue offering competitive everyday product values, exciting promotional events, free shipping days and zero shipping on popular brands and product categories you’ve grown to expect from us, we identified this refund change as an opportunity to help partially fund our increased costs, while continuing to provide the most entertaining shopping experiences filled with amazing deals.
Doing the right thing for our customers remains a top priority for us. We continue to listen to you and take your feedback to heart. We made several changes, including introducing free and easy exchanges, directly as a result of what you told us is important to you. And we remain committed to providing you with more new and exciting products at a compelling value. We’re constantly developing new benefits for our best customers and bringing you new ways to shop, and sometimes specific processes need to be phased out as a part of these bigger changes.

QVC ALREADY DOES THIS AND HAS BEEN FOR A WHILE. I RECENTLY RETURNED JEWELRY BACK TO QVC AND ALSO USED THEIR RETURN LABEL. I LIVE IN HAWAII AND OUR SHIPPING IS MUCH HIGHER. FOR THAT RETURN IT COST ME $7.95 ORIGINAL S/H + 6.95 FOR THE RETURN LABEL.. I THINK THIS IS HOW THEY ARE MAKING THEIR PROFIT AND TELLING US THEY NEED TO DO THIS AND OUT OF THE KINDNESS OF THEIR HEART ARE TELLING US BEFORE IT HAPPENS. WELL WE NEED TO REALLY DECIDE IF WE WANT THE ITEM OR NOT OR ORDER FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE. WE NEVER KNOW UNTIL WE RECEIVE THE ITEM IF WE REALLY LIKE IT OR NOT AND VERY UNFAIR TO TAKE OUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

Check your spam folder or junk folder and see if these emails go into there. With some phones, they automatically populate mass emails into the junk or spam folder.
Thank you for posting this. For some reason, I no longer get HSN emails (except order confirmations). I had read on the forums that the return policy was changing, good to see the entire policy change – thanks again for posting this!
