Really Can’t Understand!
Why does it seem everyone is so negative about the HSN move? Please tell me why? cause I just don’t get it? I’m going to shop here and I’m happy if that’s what is going to keep them afloat!!Please tell me why you’re so mad? What’s the problem?

I’m mostly going to miss some of my favorite hosts that aren’t going but I’m going to still support them 100%! I love shopping with HSN and love watching alot of the presentations & even hearing the hosts and reps chitchat!☺️ Wishing they’d stay in FL won’t change anything so no use overworrying about it right?!💗 And especially not mad and refusing to watch again…. that i don’t get either🤷♀️

I am not going to support HSN until the product line get better. It has nothing to do with the move. Yes, I will miss the hosts not making the move. Life will go on with or without them. I just don’t see much that I am interested in these days. QVC is not much better, but their selection is slightly better.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m not angry at all about the move. I am, however, disappointed at the changes with HSN/QVC. Since I’ve been shopping with them and it is many, many years, the quality of the offerings have been so disappointing The past few years. All the so-called designers I admired over the years are gone and what is left is nothing but second rate and higher prices. I also feel management had no concern at all for their clientele when they decided to clean house and replace the long time hosts we all admired. So no, I’m not angry. sad and disappointed but happy there are so many other places I now SHOP where the offerings are a much better quality and better price point.

I’m not angry either. However, I’ve shopped HSN for over 20 years and spent a lot of money. Things have definitely changed and not for the better. I’m just not interested in starting over. Actually, I’m glad that I won’t be spending so much money. I’ll buy occasionally but not as much. When you don’t watch, you don’t buy. Today we do have so many options. When I can buy products and return them free it is so easy to buy.
In closing, the farewell celebrations for all the hosts were pathetic. Valerie has her husband come up and HSN cut it off.
I truly wish the best to all the wonderful hosts who decided not to move North. Know that you were appreciated! -
Yes I was surprised that they cut off Valerie’s husband and I think puppy that was going to run up to her?! I’ll never understand why they put her farewell show on so late😬 I’ll miss her for sure!

Valerie was a sweetheart. She was so kind to Helen on her farewell celebration. She gave the nicest thank you. Too bad HSN only gave her about a minute. So disappointed!
Guy really took charge of his show. He had his son come up several times and at the end, he had several vendors and employees wish him goodbye.

Since I do most of my shopping online, I’m not upset about the move. If HSN hadn’t made a big announcement about moving, I probably wouldn’t have noticed.

Not angry at all. I just think the way some (ONE – Emily) of the new hosts are/is going about things is tacky and not at all professional (we have been through that on another post that I started – I do not think the rest of the board really wants to hear that again). Everyone is entitled to feel HOWEVER they want to about the move. Some, like me, have been here close to the same time that Bobbi Ray has been here (my start date is Nov 83) and I’ve seen a ton of changes. None have been as brutal as this one, where hosts are REQUIRED to MOVE to ANOTHER STATE in ORDER to KEEP their JOBS. But that is business.
HSN hosts have, in the past, been incredibly professional about changes. Not so much with some of the new hosts. As for the customers, WE are allowed to feel however WE want, and other CUSTOMERS should allow them to “grieve” or express their displeasure in their own ways without trying to make them feel small or WRONG in how they feel.

Angry? I am not angry of the move, i have to assume since they (QVC/HSN) are under the same umbrella that the folks in charge felt this a good change and with the hurricane challenges this past year that likely sealed the deal. I do however think “hosts” are what makes the shopper happy, which means they spend $$$$ !!! The loss of many of the hosts as they choose to stay in FLA is harsh on us that enjoyed them so much. Now granted some might say well so and so has been forever bur for example, Rebecca and Natasha, newer hosts but sure have a following because they just have that “IT” factor. Remember when Lisa Robertson left QVC, they tried to recreate her in so many ways starting with Sandra Bennet who I adore but she was not a clone of Lisa, it has taken them time to fill that void, it did not happen overnight. I am sad for all the folks in St. Pete that are losing their jobs/positions. For those that say just move, when you build a life – a Family and live in a place for a good bit, maybe change is good but it is stepping far out of a comfort zone and let me tell ya – there is a huge different in FLA life and PA life. I applaud those that choose to move, I see an overconfident attitude emerging in some of the “newer” ones which is not appealing to me, but this is a world of change and obviously we as the customers didn’t get a weigh in on this one!
Best of luck to HSN, if the products are good and the designers and guests continue to be appealing I imagine I’ll be buying…from both!-
I do have to agree with you in that I’ve noticed too that Emily in particular has seemed waaay more confident & and in charge demeanor since Pennsylvania…. possibly because shes from up there and was more out of her element in FL?? Now shes in her territory sort of…. not sure but hopefully she’ll settle down a little and be more herself soon. I do like Emily and I’m not sure if you even meant her but she came to my mind🤷♀️

I don’t think I can take an overconfident Emily, if she thinks she is “queen” – she is the newest host, yet is the one I have seen mentioned (and not just by me) as needing the most guidance in selling products and not having viewers turn her off and buy online. I have gone so far as to wait until the products she sold in her blocks are sold by another host before I buy. I do the same when Sarah sells, because I have caught her in outright lies in her attempt to hardsell – I do not watch her either.
