Positive HSN Shopanista Thread!
It’s June 1st, the sun is finally shining after days of rain and flooding. I’d like to start a positive thread for folks who want to feel good. I’m sporting my Iman ensamble, Italian Shoemaker wedges and Joy&Iman tote as I head off to buy some flowers for the garden. What’s every one else wearing and doing today??

Heidi Daus suite and people just stared and gave me lots of compliment. The Maxi

Hello wonderful happy go lucky HSN peeps! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Here’s a little blip to make you laugh. A tree trunk fell after a strong storm. Tomorrow is trash collection day and I knew I had to get the sucker cut. I’m already “dirty” from work so here I am in my Iman Ponte pants, nice top with heels sporting heavy duty work gloves cutting the trunk with my pink camo chain saw I picked up from QVC years ago. Best feeling ever, not a drop of dirt on me either. LOL

@kittengirl, hope you had a great weekend. Sorry I haven’t responded. It was a rough Sunday. Had to drop my car off to the mechanic who is 6 miles away. I had to walk home in record time to avoid the storm. I can say 6 miles on an open road is not the same as 6miles on a treadmill in an air conditioned room. Haha needless to say I crashed for two days.

Sorry to hear that! I’ve had rough days too so I understand and NO, it is not the same on open road (with rocks in your shoes and hot sun beating down on you) as on the treadmill. I walk everyday early in the morning so I don’t have the hot sun on me but some days I do get rocks in my shoes. Lol! I don’t walk 6 miles though… that must have been tiring! I’m glad you got some sleep! I trust you got your car back and in working order? Were you wearing Iman? Just curious, why, oh WHY didn’t they give you a lift back? I hope next time they do! Hi All! Well now this is most unusual, I made two posts earlier and they never posted. Oh well, I’m gonna keep moving forward as Walt Disney would say.
Everyone have a FABULOUS Saturday. I’m heading out to a graduation party with a bunch of teenagers (who now believe they are officially adults) rocking a pair of Diane Gilman hot pink capris, Iman’s pink floral tank, pink floral sandals from Italian Shoemakers and a hot pink Joy & Iman crossbody. Yeah, it’s the first warm sunny Saturday in a long time in Ohio and I’m all pinked out to celebrate.

Well last night The List actually had some adorable things! I loved the many colored topper with the large buttons! If I wasn’t leaving town for a trip I would have been tempted by several items. It was great to see Dr. Nassif back with his fantastic detox pads and oil! Keep on with the pleasant and fun vibe and I will catch up when I return! You guys have a wonderful time!-

Hi Angiep. How are you doing? About cutting the cord to the internet – I have two flat screen tv’s and I was using our local cable company, which is the only one in town. I went on line and researched indoor tv antennas and came up with the Mohu Leaf. I got one for about $15.00 for my bedroom tv and one for about $24.00 for my living room tv. I just unscrewed the cable hook up and replaced it with the Mohu hook up, I get 75 channels, great reception, and I even get QVC and HSN. The channels I don’t get, like cable news, I just watch on my computer. I also signed up for Netflix, which is wonderful, and I get all the movies and TV programs I could possibly want. Netflix costs me $9.00 a month. So, I am saving $110 dollars a month. My computer is a separate connection that has nothing to do with the cable company I was using. Try doing a little research and I am sure you will come up with something better than you have now. Have a great day. 😊❤😊

@pookie123. Thanks so much for the advice. I think this will be my weekend project. I’ll keep you posted. My main problem is Wi-Fi. I have a ROKO and FireStick but the streaming takes a while. Remember the old dial up days. That’s what it feels like at times. LOL

I am hoping Iman will be returning next month. A few of the hosts have said she is, customer servicce says no. I love her line which I left in Florida. Guess I wasn’t thinking straight because it was so cold in the northeast. Today was warm and humid. We expect thunder storms later. Cannot use our air conditioning until I figure out how to unscrew the bottom to remove the filter. There are two filters in this thing. Directions are not easy to follow. The picture says one thing, but the unit (which is portable) is different. You Tube was no help…… Hopefully, this will be the worse of my problems.

@oodibom, maybe you can call the air conditioner manufacturer and they can tell you how to replace the second filter.

It is very cold here oompared to Florida. Temps in the 50s at night and 60s during the day. Trying to clean the air conditioner before the warmer temps arrive. Not an easy process. I will check on the other thread later. Meanwhile it is sweatshirt weather……..Brrr……..

Hey Guys! Happy Sunday Evening!
It seems like it’s been such a positive response for the positive thread and it’s been my pleasure to start it! I hope everyone had a great day relaxing, shopping or doing whatever you do to keep a happy outlook. Today I finally started to transition my closet to the summer wardrobe. I’m in Cleveland, that means air conditioning by day and space heaters by night sometimes well into June ad this year is not coming up short.
Here’s a tip for Today’s Special – IT WORKS!!!! I got one a few years ago on the Q. It’s really helped with the stink bug and wasp infestation the past few years. Just make sure it’s not too close to your house.

Sounds like you had a productive day working on your closet! I had a productive day working on my garage and I’m still working on it! We are having work done Monday and Tuesday so everything must be taken out. I think it’s going to be a long night but it will be worth it to get the garage done.
It’s very hot here and humid here right now, threatening rain. We have the AC on for the kitties while we slave away outside. Lol! They are all resting and comfortable. 😀

Hi Kittengirl! Hope you completed your garage and am now resting. I feel your pain. I cleaned out mine after 22 years of “collecting stuff”. It took a few weekends.
No Iman or Slinky or Diane Gilman today. Just plain on Walmart cotton. Sometimes it’s like that when you have a full plate of chores like closets and heavy yard work.

We couldn’t remove everything because it threatened rain over night. We got up at 5 to walk and then finished moving out the other things. We got it all done in time and so far the work done looks great! I am happy! I’m resting now with my cat Jonnie. She is cleaning herself and settling in for the night on her Chicago Bears Hello Kitty blankie! 😀 It’s been another productive day and even though it is hot, I still got in my 2nd walk this evening! 😀 It’s going to be 102. It’s only beginning…

Yea! A positive thread! I wore Marla Wynn’s Bermuda shorts with a tank and her new chiffon sleeved blazer to a party yesterday with shortie boots and a large hat. I felt like it was a good outfit and was very comfortable. I’m resting with my dogs today and reading on my IPad! Great to actually have some positive thoughts and ideas! Thanks for the start……

Hi angiep, looks like you’ve got a good thing going here. I just ate a huge bowl of Pasta and I am going to follow it up with dark chocolate and something great on Netflix. I cut the cable cord a few weeks ago, it’s the best thing I’ve done for myself in a long time. Congrats on your new Thread. 😊🎈

@pookie123 I am seriously thinking about cutting the cord but am hesitant. My internet goes in and out a lot. There are some days my Arlo is down while I’m at work and I won’t mention the stalling while watching a movie on the ROKU. I’m not sure if it’s the service or my router which is only three years old.
