POPUPS ARE VERY ANNOYING.
I will not save anything on this site anymore. No Save for Later, no Favorites. Nothing. The popups are very annoying from the very beginning when logging on. These popup reminders that I click off keep coming back and now when it keeps coming back and annoying me enough, I delete the saved for later item or the favorite. It’s not enjoyable having to click off a persistent popup so many times when I’m looking for something else. Also, it’s scary knowing that what I’m browsing on this website shows up on my home page. I know other companies do it. But really, is this necessary?
Some might say to use a Popup blocker, and I have but I’m not sure I want yet another app in my computer or my business. So, if this bothers you too, then do this: Sign out of your account when done, clear your browsing data, disable recommendations in your account settings if possible. I’m making more efforts to keep my information private because “Big Brother is watching you.” And me too.

Thanks Shawn. There are many of us, I’m sure, who are frustrated with the repeating pop-ups. Maybe one helps sell, but too many is a turn off and probably leads to buyers leaving the site especially when they block the info we’re actually looking for.

Thank you Shawn.

I’m sorry the pop-ups are putting the “ow” in browsing. I’ve reported this to our leadership as the browser should be monitoring/managing how often these reminders appear and preventing them from the persistent behavior you’ve experienced. Thank you for being patient with us.

Yep. They are very intrusive. I do the same. If the pop-up shows more than a few times during my browsing session, I will delete the product from my cart. I already deleted the “save for laters”. There should be a limit on how many times they show once a user clicks them off. Thank you ebony46 for the information on how to shut them off but, I shouldn’t have to go to such measures to have a peaceful customer experience.
Hey HSN: You guys are taking the FUN out of HSN. Find another way to upsell your clients.

I forgot to mention that if you go to Start>Privacy and Security,>Windows permissions>Recommendations and offers. Click off Personalized offers. It worked for me.
