Does anyone know where Marlo Smith has been? I enjoy her shows and am missing her.

Marlo, is one of the Best Hosts on HSN and I miss seeing her…..She is Beautiful, Professional, Smart and Represent Women Well. Anyone who doesn’t like her as a Host can put in an application for a job at HSN and compete against her, oooops I guess you can’t because, you couldn’t get hired. So, continue doing what you do best being a HSN Troll and continue watching the shows……; )

I hear you but 6 months is a long time. Just because someone else had been off doesn’t make it right either.
The US had an election since the last time they were on. She’s not considerate of her fans at all.

Obviously Marlo Smith doesn’t care about her fans. She’s been playing hooky for months and not even have the common courtesy to inform her fans what’s going on with her?
When HSN shuts it’s doors for good, she will not be missed. She doesn’t miss her fans.

I assume Marlo has health issues. It is customary for the hosts to keep everything to themselves. I am sure her supervisors know what is going on and keeping the door opened for a return. It is tough when you don’t know. I am sure when things are better she may respond. Meanwhile, I would not say anything bad. That would hurt the host more when going through a difficult period, especially when we do not know the answer or the outcome. Think how you would feel if the shoe was on your foot. How would you feel if the people in your work place and the customers started saying you should quit or you should be fired for absenteeism.

I hear what you are saying but when a person has been gone as long as she has. Just a PSA to let their fans know they are doing well, they miss them and can’t wait to get back. Like I said, common courtesy. That’s something appears to have left the building.
As for what my colleagues would say about me. I actually could care less. For I don’t work for them, nor do they pay any of my bills. Maybe it matters to you what other people say. But for me, it doesn’t.

Hi Herk. I have been a customer almost from HSN’s first days. Marlo has been on and off for the most part during the past year. People have noticed that she has had trouble speaking other things. It has been customary for HSN not to address issues. I agree with you that something should have been said, but under all the owners, this has been a blank slate. I, for one, do not like hearing and seeing others bash a person for whatever reason. Good criticism is always helpful and can help someone attain great heights. If you remember, Guy Yovan was gone months due to voice problems. Nothing was mentioned prior or after his return. I just hope for the best for Marlo and hope that what she is dealing with is not that serious.

I see she’s no longer scheduled for January 30th. For several months now, everytime she is scheduled, she’s removed. I missed her over the holidays and honestly did no shopping on HSN because of her absence. Management needs to find a way to treat Ms. Marlo better. She is a phenomenal host. Entertaining, likable, seems honest and funny! I have enjoyed her for years! I also notice how every summer HSN forgets to include her in the anniversary specials. She’s been there a long while. I fist started watching her late/over nights. Just like Tamera. How come new hosts today do not start with the same hours?

I agree….Some of the new hosts ( well anyway ) I would be glad to see Marlo again, She is certainly better than some of the new hosts on HSN and QVC……

Walk a mile in their shoes before judging someone. Better yet, try not to judge (especially if the judgement is negative). As a member of the human race, I find myself guilty of judging sometimes, but I try to remember that everyone is going through something that others may not be aware of and different people handle things differently. And, then, darn it, I remember my own flaws … lol! While I may not want to do lunch with them (or them with me), it is best to be kind. It doesn’t cost anything to be kind.
