Leaderboard on Arcade

Puzzling no matter how much I play (which is too much on some days) I only gain 1-2 points. WHEREAS, there’s a good 40 points difference top players and the rest. ?????? Can’t imagine people are actually playing 24-7 on these games??????? Just wondering???
