Just Watch
I first want to say that I have been a long standing customer of HSN and have literally purchased thousands of items and I feel I can voice my opinion. There are two reasons why I am muting the show or changing the channel and not purchasing.
1) Emily Lampa and the repeticious phrases. (My friend,of course, etc have previously written on this.
2) And this one is even bigger then Emily, because she has been on for quite some time now.
TINA…have NEVER seen a person who cannot talk without throwing their hands and arms all over the place. Isn’t anyone watching these hosts and give them some constructive criticisim? Well, not buying anything from those two
So, just watch and maybe count the times Tina speaks and does NOT throw her hands all over the place.

Why not take another poll? LOL!

I just can’t understand any of this, they never sway me one way or another to buy a thing! And, if they’re annoying I won’t even watch.I feel so sorry for them constantly picked apart. That job is by far so hard to do. Period!!!
-
And,.before I was internet disconnected, I wanted to finish saying,I’d love to see your camera ready selfs! Enough said!

I can watch Tina, but not Emily. I think it’s because, for me, Tina actually listens to constructive criticism and tries to correct. Emily seems to use it as a “hold my beer” moment. She gets worse.
As for the flailing hands, I hear that. It’s distracting as everything! It was the only thing I noticed about Helen that I didn’t like. It didn’t stop me from watching, so that’s not a deal-breaker for me.
Insincerity, hard-sell, lying about products…those ARE MY dealbreakers, which is why Emily and Sarah are on my no-watch list.
I know my HSN shopping habits are noticed by the company, because whenever I speak to a CSR and mention my amount of purchasing, we always laugh about it and many mention I’m on the EXCELLENT customer list. I didn’t realize there EVEN WAS a list. They could be just being nice, or letting me in on an inside joke, but it’s been mentioned more than just a few times.

um, yep. bout says it all….agreed. All they need is a producer to help guide them to present items in a more efficient and calm way…producing shows is a handful but hinting to the hosts to take it down a few notches or to choose words that don’t play on repeat is a simple request. it may help. ps – HSN PA is looking for new show hosts. If I was in my 20s or 30s I would apply for the job, as I’m close by….but as an old head – no one wants to have to look at his face – believe me.

Very well put karen16! It should be a simple request on the producers part🤞 That’s their literal job- to correct things that should be corrected & especially when viewers feel that way.
-
And I’m right there with you it would be a fun job for sure but I laugh alot when I get nervous so the HSN community would have a field day with me😂

I hear that! And I noticed Nicole was constantly laughing the other day and it was incredibly distracting. When she was with Sam during the DG2 show, she was fine. I wonder if the producers are saying things in their ears. That would be on the producers to not do that, because it really doesn’t help sales, so I doubt they would do that. I eeally like watching Nicole but it was nearly impossible. The boards would be busy because as soon as someone posts something the least bit not positive, one of the first cliche comments come back as either “still you watch” or “I’d like to see you do their job”. Guess what? I don’t want to do the job. I buy from these people. I don’t want my salesperson to keep fakish laughing (or even real laughing) constantly while they are describing something to me to buy. If it were in person, I would turn and leave. If it’s on tv, I change the channel. But these cliche responses are ALWAYS on my bingo card, so there is that!

Ditto on my two least favorite hosts. HSN management apparently doesn’t read our comments.
