Items ordered still in packaging days after ordering.
Has this been happening to anyone else? It seems odd I’ve usually gotten orders pretty quickly but lately stuff just sits several days before leaving packageing.

HSN still has a return policy of 30 days to return the package. They usually give you some extra days from the date ordered and delivered for those 30 days. If the item is broken or the garments are not in pristine condition, you will pay for the return delivery. However, you do receive a complete refund after they receive it. This means the shipping cost is also refunded. If you have any questions there is a Customer Service thread within Community and the Mods will answer.
Florida has been hit really hard with the Covid 19 and the other viruses as well. There are many businesses, including HSN, that are working with a skeleton crew. Things are at a much slower pace, but the work does get done. I also have some items that have not been shipped and they are gifts. I have notified the people that there is something coming. It may not arrive on their special day, but it’s something they can look forward to at a later date. Things will get better. Just not today. This too, shall pass.

Yes…it is ridiculous and frustrating to order something and then it isn’t shipped for 5- 10 days but can’t be canceled , This is outrageous. Then if and when item arrives it is often not as presented, but customer must pay enormous return price and original S+H….$10.50 minimum,

Sorry I got my post reply mixed up. I have a head injury and should have backed out when I did feel confused. I was so feeling your post I decided to try.
The part about not being able to cancel is very frustrating. That is when I began to pause before adding to cart and started looking for somewhere else to get products. I have experienced numerous shipping mistakes as of late. It would help if HSN would implement the ability to cancel until they get their warehouse up to speed or be more accurate about when to expect to receive an item. My personal experience for years is the customer has to pay for the return of defective merchandise or mistakes on the part of HSN. Only once I received the full return because the experience to an ingested product was really bad. I read somewhere that return policies in doing business is a huge money maker. I’m stepping away from HSN until they turn it around. I can’t discount some of the HSN exclusives so that it where my committment to HSN stands now. At the least I figure if I don’t buy anything it will help the warehouse to catch up. Usually shipping is good so I have high hopes on that.

What? I have never received the full refund for my broken products when returned. Now I will have to make some phone calls. Thanks for that tidbit of useful information.
I am curious. Are you trying to become an HSN host? You certainly work long and hard at being the brand ambassador while you talk about your musings. You are extroverted, caring and HSN should give you a chance to audition. If you can speak as well as you write I think you would be a valuable addition to the line up. You are skilled at posting photographs too but, I don’t really get those. They often don’t relate to anything here at HSN. Still, they are pretty or interesting to look at and of course we all love novelties. I’m glad you spend a lot of time doing the job of calming everybody down about their HSN customer service dissatisfaction. For as much as you do it I think you should be paid by HSN if you aren’t being paid already. Maybe they could design a job for you in this regard? I would love for somebody to champion the lady who has been asking for her arcade prizes for over a year now.

My last order was in packaging for 15 days.

Quite a few warehouses are working with a skeleton crew because of Covid. I think it also depends upon the warehouse they are using. I have received numerous e-mails from UPS, FEDEX, and also USPS that the deliveries will take some time to pickup and deliver.

This is still no excuse for not being able to CANCEL a delayed order
