Is it me?

I wonder if there is something wrong with me. I do buy a lot of clothes, but I share them a lot also. However, lately I’ve been doing a lot of exchanges and returns. Sizing is the most frequent reason, but quality is an issue too. Please tell me if it’s me.
1. Returned 5 pair of Wynne pants bc, they said they had pockets but didn’t.
2. Exchanged Bzees shoes for a larger size bc my normal size was too small. But all my other Bzees fit.
3. Exchanged Comfort Code pants for a smaller size but I ordered my regular size.
4. Returned a dress ordered in regular size and it was huge on me.
5. Returning a Rhonda jumpsuit bc the armholes are too big but last years version fits me fine.
I wonder if it’s me.

Yes, you are among many that feel the same. I have decided to stop ordering very much. I just ordered the new C Wonder capri shorts and they were so tight. Ordered my regular medium size. Asked for an exchange to a large because I have sent so much back. I know too many returns trigger a sort of alert with HSN. I also ordered a pair of jeans from DG2 and they smelled so strongly of chemicals I have now washed them 10 times. The smell is still very faint. I’ve soaked them in laundry borax also to remove the smell. I kept them because I’ve returned so much. But I decided to go back to not ordering on HSN again.

And I notice that the models and hosts will state they are in their regular size medium but they are much much larger than me or the outfit is obviously too tight. I do not think we can go by what these people say the size they are wearing. This is especially true for the pants and the jackets. Notice if they can button the jacket in the front or if they show the waist band and rear of the pant so you can see exactly how it fits. Often not much is shown to allow us to guesstimate if the clothing item will fit us properly.

Nope its not you, I just sent stuff back and it kills me that I have to pay return postage when I know my size. I always look at the measurements. They should give everyone one or 2 free returns a year.

It’s not you! I feel like the clothing on the hosts and models is specifically tailored for them because nothing looks the same on me when I get it home. The C. Lopez ruffle dress from last week looks horrible on and material is cheap. (I even tried to give it to my daughter.). Doll 10 makeup all burned my eyes. Prai Platinum made me break out — so I just stick to the regular formula . I now only buy what I know I like. Too much work trying to send everything back all the time. I will say though, HSN is great about returns never a problem, but I do feel bad.

  Hsn will probably ban me from shopping bc I just received a pair of Easy Spirit shoes ordered in my size which are too big and will be returned. I also just received an exchange I requested for a romper by Antthony which was too big and the replacement in a smaller size is too big also. I am not losing weight but maybe my mind bc I just don’t know what size to buy anymore. I will return anything that doesn’t work for me and perhaps get banned and maybe that is a good thing.

I’m also short and petite (4′ 11) and it’s almost impossible to find any clothes on HSN that will properly fit a petite sized woman, even tops are often too long. I will say that Michelle Yarn is a petite, and when she is presenting a garment, she will often mention how it fits on her. None of the other hosts appear to be petite. That’s why Michelle is one of my favorite hosts.

It’s very difficult to buy on-line.
I won’t buy clothes here because I’m short and petite, and I learned nothing fits me here!

  Thank you for the well wishes, JMC. And the same to you as well. I really prefer to buy online but wish that I knew my size. it would help if the garment measurement guides were accurate. In some cases, there are no garment measurements listed. Sometimes I read the reviews for fit suggestions but often the reviews just say they love it but not why. I try to buy from lines which have fit me in the past, but the sizing has been inconsistent lately.
  
  BYW, I called HSN about those pants without pockets and they sent me a free return label.
  It pays to call them sometimes.
