Is it Adam or HSN?
All the time Adam is pressuring to buy something IMMEDIATELY because in x amount of minutes it’s going to go up. Last night….Jan 10th on his Monday night show INSISTED the Ecoflow was going back up to $2500. At midnight! For sure!! Well, now today and now tonight Jan 11th at 7PM, Adam is pushing the same TS price at $1799/1899. I thought it was over yesterday?? Sick of the high pressure and literal lies. Is it Adam or is it HSN? They need to be called out. Now he’s saying for sure….for sure it’s going up tonight. Please stop. I turned it off by the way.

The high pressure sales tactics are annoying, but don’t bother me as much as the disrespectful approach some of these hosts have regarding their bodily noises. It’s a big problem with the female hosts on jtv. Most of those hosts drink beverages and hack cough right into their mics. Why is it necessary to force the viewing shoppers to listen to the annoying and disgusting sound of some beverage gulping down someone’s gullet. And, the thunderously loud coughing and hacking are off the charts. So rude! Regard for the viewing audience has disappeared. Those females don’t even apologize or excuse themselves when they engage in that behavior. Their attitudes are pretty much like, “We’ve got such an enormous audience, you don’t deserve our respect. We’ll do whatever we want at the expense of the viewers because we can.” Whenever they start in with that ‘gulping down the gullet’ business and the loud coughing, I change the channel. They have a lot of jewelry that I really like, but I just can’t listen to those annoying noises.

I can’t stand Adam because of the way he ALWAYS is saying items he’s presented are about to sell out. He’s such a , I will not watch anytime he is on.

I finally retired after 42 years of working. The last 36 years being for one employer. I am starting to watch HSN again, and I am surprised at all the changes. When did the models start talking? I remember very few models talked back then. Sometimes, Randy would answer if Colleen or Suzanne Somers asked her a question. I know I am dating myself talking about Randy LOL!
I saw Brett Chuckerman today, and I noticed he was not wearing his wedding ring. When I googled him, I was surprised to see that he was the star of several adult movies. Sorry if this is old news, but i’ve had my nose stuck in paperwork other than TV LOL! I guess that’s why he’s not an HSN Host anymore.

I find myself watching HSN less and less these days. The dishonest sales practices, the annoying hosts (not all, I still like Callie and Bobbie Ray) and now they have the models praising the clothing they are wearing!!! Really?? Like they are going to give their honest opinion while being paid to model the clothes??? We consumers are smarter than that, but HSN just doesn’t care.

Tillyboy, yah, the models praising the clothing beyond ridiculous. Talk about being put on the spot. Wish hosts would provide some details about the item, just it looks nice feels nice wear with jeans or dressy.

Yeah, that’s the thing. When they do/say the same thing often, we notice.

I cannot watch Adam anymore. Or Shannon Fox for that matter, but that’s a whole different level of annoyance with her. Adam and his ” surprise” offers at 40 past the hour and the hype attached with it is a HUGE turnoff. He is fake as the day is long. I hardly ever watch the network. I do the same, just watch the individual presentations on items I’m interested in……muted, of course, especially if the two aforementioned hosts are presenting. I think all the hosts bring their own
” schtick” to their shows, sanctioned by the network, of course. -
This is one reason why I do not watch HSN on TV.. What I do is check the program guide for the day to see what is coming up. If something interests me or there is a vendor I like, I check out the items before it is televised. Most of the time, though, I wait until the program has been over for a few hours and then return to the program guide to view the item that peaked my interest and watch the video. I actually mute the presentation and let the item speak for itself. Adam, as far as I know, is not the one to oversell an item. He usually tells it like it is. In my opinion, HSN is the one at fault for the hype and sometimes the dishonesty. This is the way HSN was when they first started to broadcast back in the 80s.
