I'm flabbergasted
I’m curious to know if anyone else has had this experience. I received an email notification that 1 of my autoship products was being discontinued. So I went online and found the same product that would substitute for my discontinued product. The autoship price was $99, and the single shipment was $24. I called CS and I was told that there are many products that have different prices depending upon which shipment type they chose. All I know is I have been shopping at HSN for 30 years and I have never seen this before. Anyone else have this experience?

No, I have never had that happen. I would call back, that sounds crazy.

I spoke to 2 different supervisors on 2 separate days and was told the same thing. So. If I pur hase 3 of these items on single ship, it is less money than 1 item on autoship. Perhaps they are trying to discourage people from purchasing autoship products? Whatever the reason for this change, it is adding up to many undesirable changes at HSN.

Yes, it seems a number of products now have different prices for single and auto ship so it’s important to click on both before ordering. I’m not at all sure why anyone would want auto ship at those very high prices?

I’ve noticed it too. When vendors are scheduled, some items go on sale and some do not. Often, yes, single ship is on sale and auto-ship is not. I’ve also noticed that certain scent choices go on sale and other do not. You need to click on everything and be careful you don’t order a scent that is not on sale.

Absolutely, need to check and double check all items, their descriptions and pricing. Does not feel trustworthy to me.

I found another one that’s a puzzler. Tweak’d by Nature Body Lotion — one 8 oz bottle is $50 but you can get a two-pack for $29. (or you could, the Restore is sold out in the 2-pack.)

Yes, this does happen!! When the item/product is a scheduled item with the guest /owner or specialist for the product and the deals are special/marked down for that hour or day they will actually tell you not to order the same product on line which may be smaller or not a two for one. It truly makes no sense to me that they still have both on the page during this time. I also find that sometimes if you have an order on AS and they have a new show with a new price HSN does not automatically mark down your next shipment but still charge you the higher price. I have actually had to cancel an order on AS and reorder the same item at new price or larger size. I would love if they sent an email saying a product we have purchased or have on AS is going to be lowered or is now in a larger size for same or less price so we can make that change.

Customer service cannot edit an existing order. I, too, have cancelled AS and placed a new AS when a better price comes along.

Yes! I find this happens all the time. I have asked in past while trying to order an item on AS, but the customer service person either does not understand what I am saying or they give a standard answer. This happens even when they are on air that day and they are saying to order it on AS and get it again for the same low price!! I find it truly annoying!!
