I will never, ever buy a TS again

I am a firm believer in Buyer Beware. I posted this information because when anything life happens to one, it happens to all.

I for one would appreciate more Buyer Beware posts.

Takeaways from this post. ———————————–

*** Price can be greatly reduced after the 30-day purchase of purchasing a TS. This product went down by 37 days on day 34 after the TS.

*** Do not buy all the sales hype. No, Adam, this was not a cold, cold winter in the United States as you claimed it would be, and the shelves did not run out of heaters as you claimed. Scare tactic selling.

**** When you make a complaint and you request a manager to call you back, Do not expect a return call because they will tell you a manager will NOT return your call.

**** The price reduction is from 30 days of purchase not from 30 days of the arrival of the product to your home. In the past, I was told by HSN staff the 30-day count starts when the product arrives at your home. This is a blatant lie.

Hi Traci, I totally agree with you. HSN procast to 50 states and many,many cities within those states.. I don’t expect them to know what the weather is going to be in my state of Florida and especially my county Palm Beach County. Heck the weather station can’t predict the local weather here LOL. I know when they speak , they are not addressing me and my state or county . We always run warm to hot during winter months . I know from family in other states, it’s been a very cold winter. People need to use common sense. Be well!,

It is along the same claims that when it is gone it is gone! I love it when the salesperson claims they could not decide so they bought one of each!

Not addressing whether something in gone nor not, I’m stating that HSN , infomercial is addressing All 50 states not just Texas or Florida. It may be be incredibly cold in one state and not so much in our state (Florida). I know we can’t rely on our local weather channel when they say rain or sunshine , I’m sure rain or sunshine happened in some part of the viewing area, not my block. Please keep in mind they cover 50 states, not just Texas or Florida. HSN is NOT what it used to be (shopping with them for 30 yrs) but calling them out on this is silly. YB has totally changed the material on their yoga mat shoes. It is not even close in comfort like they were when we got the Marshmallows.

Skechers Yoga are a close second to what YB yoga mat used to be.

Sole Sister, do you remember Nina shoes? I still have mine from back then! I still have my Joan Boyce boots, Taos Sandals,and Bernie Mev shoes, and my Born shoes. My Born shoes are like wearing comfortable gloves for my feet. Today’s Born is not the same as it used to be. The Born made in Mexico is better than Born made in China.

I could have returned them, but I read posters stating that HSN was charging them 50 to 60 for shipping and handling as a return fee. Also, I sent one to my bestie. I did not want to tell her give it back. LOL!

I remember when I received daily packages from HSN. Yes, sometimes on Sundays as well.

I have not been buying that much from HSN and looks like I need to practice not buying from HSN. The only vendor they still have is Anthony whom I recognize and love.

When I made my complaint, I asked that it be forwarded to management. The CSR said she would forward the complaint to management. I asked when would I receive a call from a manager. She said that I would not be getting a call. That shows me how much they care.

I do expect the cost to drop by not that drastic and not that soon. I have seen the price of the TS increase and last many, many months afterward at the same increased price.

Hurry, hurry, you don’t want to wait till it’s cold. It is supposed to be a very cold winter. You don’t want to wait because you may not find any heaters!

I am so tired of their garbage.

Skittles, so sorry you had to go through this. This is one of the reasons I ask the mods in customer service within community for help. I have found that they do not always rely on what you are told over the phone. They do go the extra mile. I do have one more question on this. Did customer service take into account the number of days it took to receive the TS. Sometimes there is a hold up in delivery. If you have read some of the comments here, you will notice that many say that there item or items have been in packaging for more than a week. Customer Service, should also give you that extra few days for the receiving end. The person you spoke with should have also taken in account that you may not have received your items within their time limit. This is why I suggest you also go to the Customer Service area within Community so they can take it a step further or at least give you a better answer. I feel for you on this one.

It was 34 days from the date of order, but it was NOT 30 days from when I received the package.

Since it was free shipping, it took forever to receive 2 of 3 three packages.

I hate the Customer Service section on this board because they never answer questions or help. They only respond if they want to respond, which is occasional.

Skittles, I just reread your post. If I am reading correctly your purchase was 34 days prior to the lower price. You do have leverage here. Let’s say you went to Macy’s and purchased a set of cookware. You opened the box at Macy’s and looked at the top pieces and because they looked OK you made a purchase. However, when you returned home and you unloaded the box you found that the bottom pieces were dented. From the day of purchase at Macy’s you had 30 days to return with no questions asked. HSN is similar in that they are a retail business. However, the difference is that they sell through a cable company or a satellite or through ROKU or Amazon or other networks. You are not seeing the actual product until it is delivered. HSN has always used the date of delivery as the beginning of the 30 days return policy. On this note, please post in the Customer Service section within Community to see what they come up with. You can mention that you contacted CS and all they could do was offer you $5. You will probably be given a way to contact them directly and to give them pertinent info such as date of purchase, your item #, and your membership #. . These people, though customer service, are not like those you spoke with or chatted with. Please, give them a try before you write HSN off entirely. Also, if someone writes in your space other than a CS person, you may have to rewrite again. Seeing a response they may feel that one of their crew is helping you when that is not the case. Good luck. I hope it works out for you. 😁😀

The woman who slapped me on the face with the 5 dollars said it is 30 days from the date of purchase.

In the past, I had heard from the CSRs that the 30 days starts when the product arrives at your home.

Skittles, it has always been 30 days from the day of delivery. Depending upon who you talk to, it can go a bit longer. Since you do not like the mods customer service area, why not try “chat.” I use that section often as well. If HSN goes by the date of purchase, then it is high time they tell their customers the new rule. I, for one, do not like being in the dark . Hmm….I think we both need help on this one. I will give this the ole “college” try and will post again when I have an answer.
