Hsn 90 day returns not being honored during Covid as promised!
Not sure anyone else is having this problem, but I had 4 items I purchased & returned during the 90 day (Covid) return period from March to the end of May as they promised.I recently got an email saying the item/items did not meet the 30 day return timing & were sending me the items back, when it was actually during the time it fell under the 90 day return period. I cant seem to get much help from HSN other than they reported to another dept. It’s been weeks and they never got back to me or refunded me for my returns. Neither did I get the items back. I’ve been a customer for 30 plus years & never been treated like this, either they’re are problems on the processing end or I’m being robbed. This makes me not want to order anything from them again & return all my recent purchases. Just FYI,check your returns.

Thank you so much @rbloved! I started the process late yesterday, got a great supervisor on the phone & we are working it out. Of course just like your situation it’s a process & takes time to get refunded. Due to this being their mistake, it would have been nice if they just refunded on the spot since they have the merchandise back and they have not shipped it back out yet. Oh well, we can’t have everything… Hopefully this 411 will help others going through the same situation. Thanks again & have a great week!

Happy to help Mari & others. Let me alert you to another important point I forgot to mention. My refund was initially credited to my spendable cash account. I called customer service and told them I would prefer the refund be returned to my original method of payment (credit card). As you may know, if you purchase an item with spendable cash, you cannot get a second refund. Also, FYI -if you do have to return the items back to HSN & it is inconvenient, you can ask CS for a $5 credit to spendable cash for your troubles. I have been a customer for over 20 years and I am very pleased with HSN customer service. You have a great week as well.

Mari33- I experienced the same problem, and the problem was finally resolved. I received the same email and it took about 4 weeks before I received the returned items back from HSN. I had previously called customer service when I first received the email and they told me to call back when I received the returned items. When I finally received the items, I called customer service again and asked to speak to a Supervisor. (Very important) I explained the situation to the Supervisor, and provided all the pertinent information, including the order numbers, purchase date, return date, and return shipping number. She explained there was a glitch in the system regarding the special 90 day return policy, and emailed me a pre-paid return shipping label. She said she would recode the items in the system to override the 30 day flag. I resealed the box, attached the shipping label and took the box to UPS. The good news is, the box arrived back to HSN within 7 days and I received my full refund within 3 days after that. I know it’s a headache, but follow these steps, and you will get your refund. Hope that helps.
