HOST JASMINE

I agree with most of what’s been said here. It has long been an irritation to me that I have to listen to one host in particular talking and laughing about human intimate parts and the cutesie names she opts to use for them, I believe you will all know who I am talking about! To me this is obnoxious. Do we not have enough vocabulary to figure out more appropriate words to use? This woman ought to know better – she is old enough to know better, and her past work as a t.v. presenter must have taught her something about how to act as a role-model for others! We all like to joke once in a while, but I remain surprised that HSN appears to condone her immodesty.

To continue with the same host but another topic: is HSN paying so much that THIS host can own “one-in-every-color”? I heard her talk about owning a closet she cannot house within her home – maybe its time to decrease the employee discount! To those of us who must seriously consider the cost of every purchase, its sickening to hear her boast about how many in each color she owns, let alone to see her strutting and posing (WHY? She isn’t a model, yet she often takes the shots away from the poor voiceless girls who are actually modeling the garments very nicely on their own!).

I miss a lot of my favorite sections now because, instead of not buying anything Ive seen her wear, I started to simply switch off the t.v. whenever I hear her voice in order to avoid being annoyed by her. HSN, she is out of control.

I think Debbie D is the worst host. She never tells you the length of the pants or that it comes in regular & petite. She keeps rambles about nothing. None of her shows are informative at all about the product. There is nothing professional about her at all. She repeats over & over” I want you to get this ” and “you guys”. I think some hosts need some refresh training.

How about passing the critique along to Debbie with her cookies and big Rich shtick as well..is she competing with Shawn now for who can be the most unprofessional and obnoxious?

Personally, IMO, most of the hosts have gotten out of control. Not only have I stopped watching HSN, I have decreased my spending. The excessive use of the word, “bucks,” sounds like fingernails on a chalk board to me. Even Callie, who I thought was the most professional of all the hosts, has taken to using this word much more than ever. I don’t care to hear about Debbie’s sex life. Also, many of the hosts need to take elocution lessons. Perhaps HSN will consider my suggestions.

styna17…I have heard Jasmine speak about all the things that you have indicated that she should speak more about. What more can she add for you? She is presenting information that makes sense while supporting the brand representative who also provides information needed to support the sales presentation. She also provides information about quality and how things fit the models … including their heights and sizes.
