End of an era
So I heard the sad news that qurate is selling the Tampa home of HSN and relocating closer to QVC. I feel bad for all the employees that are going to be let go and disdain the corporate bean counting suits that think this is a good idea. I wonder if there will still be the Florida outlets since it seems qurate wants out of Florida. If I only have online as a HSN choice, I probably won’t continue.

I read somewhere that the outlet store will remain. Not sure why. Mostly, Qurate is combining production facilities, which makes sense.
I am sorry for those losing their jobs, but it’s simply a business decision. -
They said they will also focus on live social shopping and streaming but that we will still have our HSN tv channel too!! Hope so!! I’m not into all that social shopping stuff…. so i guess we’ll see by fall i think!?

They want HSN to be in the same studio as QVC it is probably saving them a lot of money. When there is a bad storm in Florida they had to go to Pennsylvania to film a few times so it makes sense to the powers that be.
They aren’t firing anyone but if they don’t want to move they will have to quit. I wonder which hosts will go & which ones won’t. I could see Lopez staying on & not moving because she works primarily part time or when she wants but she can afford to quit she is the right age & financially wealthy. -
I will be sad if Adam doesn’t transfer. I love watching him especially with Jay King. I’m not a fan of vacuum cleaners, power generators, TVs, and large electronics. It seems like every Saturday they sell vacuum cleaners, if large electronics don’t work you have to pay to return it, it’s expensive. I won’t buy anything large, except I did get Samantha Brown large TS, waiting for arrival.
