Disappointed with Tracfone
I have used Tracfone wireless for 8yrs and never had a problem. This one is a nightmare. I purchased a new phone at HSN in August and activation was a breeze. Minutes from my old phone rolled over and I kept the same phone number. On 10/15 I couldn’t make calls. 10/16 Tracfone zeroed out my account. The rep at Tracfone only gave me back 1,000 talk text data. I lost 3gigs etc. 10/17 Tracfone yet again zeroed out my account. Today they insulted me again and gave me 1,000 talk text data. I’ll never get back the hours I’ve spent with their so called CS. Service was way better before Verizon bought them. What good is a cell phone if you can’t use it. Dang.

Dec. 3 2024 New Galaxy Phone & bundle arrives. I spent 6 hours one Sunday with my Daughter trying to get it activated. Then an additional hour three more times, THAT IS 9 HOURS.
Still will not accept the bundle part of the phone activation.
This is outrageous. Tracfone says no plan associated with the phone. Activation website will not work. HSN was no help. Tracfone is no help. THIS IS A TRUE NIGHTMARE !!!

Stay away from anything related to Verizon!! They used to be ok. Now, they have a robot that won’t connect you to a human at customer service even though it says it’s going to.
I had the worst month of my cell phone life with them. I switched, but it wasn’t easy. You have to fight them to get the information you need to transfer. Worst service ever. Couldn’t get calls or texts. THAT’S what happened to TracFone, if Verizon took them over.
Cut your losses and go with someone else. Make sure they aren’t owned by Verizon. I’ve noticed they’ve bought a bunch of companies recently.
