It is snowing like a banshee right now.❄️ Spring is not four days away in the ‘burgh. There is almost three inches out there since about 5:00. Just hope it quits so sis’s plane doesn’t get delayed or cancelled, sigh…. She will not be a happy camper.

Like you, I enjoyed the Oscars. Didn’t seem to be as long this year. Only a few people who were too wordy. Prayers for your niece’s husband, I wish for a quick cease fire.🙏

Before purchasing a home in Florida, the buyer should always ask about termites and have the new place checked. It is the responsibility of the owner to disclose this info and also inform the buyer concerning the vapor barriers (mobile home, tiny homes, condos, apartments, single homes, etc.) along with having the home inspected from top to bottom. This should also include plumbing and electrical. Also, the buyer should ask about the bug extermination even if not needed. We have ours done every three months and this includes the lawn. When you own a home in Florida there are many perks. These include lower prices for Disney, Universal, Cruise lines, etc.. Many restaurants have happy hours, senior days as well as senior dinners during certain hours. In some cases you need to ask.

The worse part of Florida is getting to and from places. Heavy traffic on the main roads as well as on the Interstate. Interstate I-75, is the one we use and it could be tie ups no matter when you leave. This is mainly due to construction and I surmise that I-95 is no different. Car rentals here seem to be lower in cost than our home in the Northeast. I suspect it will be lower than in CA. . If you are interested in a mobile home, be prepared to evacuate during hurricane season or other reasons. Make sure you own the land with your home, otherwise, someone could come along and purchase all the properties for single family. Be careful of new builds. Sometimes the contractor will tack on other costs that you may be paying for the rest of your life. These could be passed on to a new homeowner as well. Make sure the real estate agent is knowledgeable. Oh yes, one more thing. After one year owning your home, you can apply for homesteadeers. This enables you to pay your property tax at the level you are in when you did the application. Age and income have nothing to do with this. I think I have tackled all bases. Any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

I am home again today, but feeling better. Found going down the three steps OK, but returning to the front door a huge problem. Decided to wait one more day. I did receive a package from HSN and the jacket arrived. It’s exactly what I need and will keep me warm through the cool, oops, I mean the cold down for the rest of the week. Layering will not be a problem.

T’he rain and wind have started. Heavy rain. I contacted the receptionist and mentioned that the rain was coming down hard and an umbrella may be useless due to the wind. I am glad to be home and not worrying about running to the car. My hubs would be a nervous wreck wondering if I made it home OK. It’s times like this that I wish he had a phone in his room.

I have enjoyed the Scarpetta novels and will watch the video when I am able. I purchased the newer model of Amazon’s HD Fire 11″ Max which was supposed to be brand new, but in my case, NOT. It shows a black, horizontal line when first opened. It has a tendency to jump around and then freezes. The one good thing is the Alexa app. She actually talks to you as if in the same room. Any subject, any time. I will be returning it this week. The one thing I need to say is that Amazon stands behind their products 100%.

A refreshing break to watch instead of all the doom and gloom going on. No I don’t
have my head in the sand just need a break from all the noise.

My niece husband leaves today to go to the Gulf she is having a moment who would
not. I am praying for all who are affected by things we don’t control may the lord watch

We had a good conversation about this book/Video Series. I always watch a Nicole
Kidman Movie. Oodie last night she was on the Academy Awards Show and did a little
singing with Ewan McGregor from their movie Moulin Rouge done 25 years ago.
I own it on Blu Ray she has a nice voice and I have covered some of the songs from
the movie on this thread. 💕😎

I will catch the series soon I am looking forward to it. Oodie this looks like a great cast.
I know every cast members work. Patricia Cornwell is a very good writer she has many books and I have
read some of them.💕
