I created and started this thread 13 years ago in March. 😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎I have been shopping and posting on HSN since the late
90’s 😎I have wonderful memories from the HSN we all know and love.

Good Morning Peeps and enjoy the HSN Community. 😎🎈

Good Evening i bet you are tired too. Glad hubby is improving that is what we were all
hoping for. 😎💕Let mother nature take her course and soon this will be a distant memory. Now take care of yourself those bins can wait until Thursday I am sure.

Here is to a calm and restful night. A good book or anything that you enjoy doing. 💕😎🎈
A nice cup of tea with your Manuka Honey will work just fine. Thank you for taking the time
to let us know your husband is improving. 🎈😎💕 -
Thank you for the shout out. Having everyone around certainly helps me get through the day and night. I posted an update. I think at the moment my hip hurts more than his pneumonia (LOL). I am about ready to call it a night.
By the way, I am hoping that someday you will renege on a pooch. Some of my fun times on line is watching the antics of the pooches, especially the labs. I know it is hard when they get sick and a difficult decision must be made. However, sometimes the fun times makes everything so worthwhile. When I lost my cat and my neighbor’s cat came to our home to say goodbye, I was really distraught. But the memories of both and their funny sides still makes me laugh. I am ready for another adventure, only the house isn’t ready. Definitely will be going to the shelter to pick out my new friend when the time is right. Stay well. Again, I will say, you are very fortunate that you have a sister that cares.

5 Greatest Songs ever to win the OSCAR for Best Original Song.
The Best Original Song category at the Academy Awards has produced some remarkable winners—songs that didn’t just work inside a film but became part of popular culture. The best of them transcend the movie itself and become enduring classics played on radio, covered by artists, and remembered decades later.
Here are five of the greatest songs ever to win the Oscar for Best Original Song.
“Over the Rainbow” — The Wizard of Oz (1939)
Songwriters: Harold Arlen and Yip Harburg
Performed by: Judy Garland
Film: The Wizard of Oz
Few songs in cinema history carry the emotional weight of “Over the Rainbow.” Introduced early in the film by Garland’s Dorothy Gale, the song became a symbol of hope and longing.
Ironically, studio executives nearly cut the song from the film because they thought it slowed the pacing. Instead, it became one of the most beloved songs ever written and is frequently ranked among the greatest songs of the 20th century.“Moon River” — Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961)
Songwriters: Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer
Performed by: Audrey Hepburn
Film: Breakfast at Tiffany’s
This gentle ballad, sung by Hepburn while sitting on a fire escape with a guitar, became the emotional centerpiece of the film.
“Moon River” went on to become one of the most recorded songs in pop history, covered by artists from Frank Sinatra to Andy Williams, whose version turned it into a major hit.
“My Heart Will Go On” — Titanic (1997)Songwriters: James Horner and Will Jennings
Performed by: Celine Dion
Film: Titanic
Perhaps the most commercially successful Oscar-winning song ever, “My Heart Will Go On” became inseparable from James Cameron’s epic film.
The sweeping ballad dominated radio worldwide and helped push the Titanic soundtrack into the tens of millions of sales. Dion’s performance and the song’s unforgettable flute melody made it one of the defining pop songs of the 1990s.
“Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head” — Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969)
Songwriters: Burt Bacharach and Hal David
Performed by: B. J. Thomas
Film: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
The playful bicycle scene featuring Paul Newman and Katharine Ross helped cement this Bacharach-David tune as a pop standard.
The song became a No. 1 hit on the Billboard charts and remains one of the most recognizable melodies of the late 1960s.
“Lose Yourself” — 8 Mile (2002)Songwriters: Eminem, Jeff Bass, and Luis Resto
Film: 8 Mile
“Lose Yourself” made history as the first hip-hop song to win the Oscar for Best Original Song.
Its urgent lyrics about seizing opportunity perfectly mirrored the narrative of 8 Mile. The song became a massive cultural phenomenon, winning multiple Grammys and topping charts worldwide. Eminem famously skipped the ceremony when it won, later performing it live at the Oscars nearly two decades later.

I just arrived home after spending most of the day with hubs. He was asleep when I arrived and thankfully I had a book to read, a puzzle book and Amazon Fire for my jigsaw puzzles. Huge smile when he awoke and saw me by his bedside. He is on oxygen, but the lowest number, so hopefully, his lungs will be strong enough by tomorrow to be on his own. He is still coughing, but not as much as yesterday. He was able to joke and talk somewhat. His voice is now coming back. However, I am not at this point saying he is out of the huge part. I do recall how pneumonia runs, so I am hoping he will snap out of this. Thankfully, today, I remembered my sweatshirt. By 6pm I was freezing. Hubs blankets were every which way and not on him. So, I became the aide and took the covers off and started from scratch. He was nice and comfy and soon fell asleep. I even brought the blanket that Sheba and I purchased . The only thing is, I forgot to bring the labels with his name on it. I will bring it with me tomorrow.
At the moment I am in tons of pain with the hip. Not sure about doing recycle and garbage tomorrow morning. I was hoping to do it tonight. But no way. I was OK until the rehab put the A/C on low. I am beginning to feel that that is the culprit, though I must admit the one near the throne is also my nemesis.
Hope you have a pleasant evening. Temp is in the mid 60s as I type. House is very warm. All systems were off when I left. They are now running.
