Conversation 34

This is number 34 out of the of the series.
I created and started this thread 12 years ago. 😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎I have been shopping and posting on HSN since the late
90’s 😎I have wonderful memories from the HSN we all know and love.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. The best present will be seeing hubs back home and not at that rehab center. I will be seeing him tomorrow along with meeting with the Administrator and Social Services. I’ll be glad when I can make homemade goodies, soups and whatever,
By the way, the cough medicine I recommended actually tastes pretty good and does not feel like anything that we can purchase over-the-counter. It does taste a bit medicinally, but I found that in one day my cough started to diminish. I was reluctant to give it a try, but didn’t want to stay away from the Rehab for any length of time. It worked and that is the main thing. I hope you start feeling better. The Asian New Year is just days away and that should bring you some new choices when ordering in or out. Their New Year goes until March, I think.

I didn’t see hubs today. I surprised him yesterday with an egg salad sandwich from the Farmer’s Market. At the same time I treated myself to a Reuben from the same place. I gave some to hubs without a problem. On the way home I had severe stomach cramps and could not figure out why. I thought it may have been food poisoning but everything I ate was made that day. Then when I finally remembered that this could be a sulfite attack. I forgot that the Reuben was loaded with sauerkraut and I ate it without thinking. I am OK now, finally. Up all night . Another lesson learned. I will see hubs tomorrow and will show him your pictures and how I celebrated on line.
One of my favorite dances is called the Asian Ribbon Dance. It’s not only beautifully choreographed, but shows the colors brilliantly. This is one time I should have had tickets for the balcony because the dance goes through many steps and flows differently when watching from above. One needs to be very limber to do the twists and turns. In a different way you have captured this spirit with the change of dress, colors, etc. through your expressions of movement. Hubs will be able to see this as he loves the dances as well. I think that was the moment he knew I was the one for him. I actually sat at the edge of my seat watching. He kept asking me questions. I kept shushing him away not wanting to miss a step.
Thank you again for the pictures and the movements. To think I will be able to see this until you start another new thread, someday, in the future. Now go feed the kitties and the opossum who thinks he is a cat. Enjoy the evening. Our area is a bit windy and temps will go down to the 20s tonight. Tomorrow the 60s and 40s. Warmup begins Tuesday when we will be in the 70s.

Sheba, I may have caught some of the game you mentioned to Shoelady because we went out for Pizza yesterday and it seems it was a Sports Bar of sorts. My hubs is a Pizza guy.
♥ that you worked with the great Ethel Merman! Your career was definitely more fun than my tech one. -
Happy belated birthday, Oodie! I hope this year is a wonderful one.🎈🎉🎁🎂

Why are all the teams we want to win come down to the last play of the game? Geez, never easy or stress-free.😟 And so many overtime games, especially in hockey. Glad for Denver except for the injured QB, super bad luck, and sad for SF. On to next week…..
Cold and snowy through mid-week, the high on Tuesday will be in the teens, lows single digits or less.🥶❄️ Have some running around to do this week so I hope the snow goes away quick.
Watching this afternoon’s game, having Lo mein for dinner.🥡 Big, warm hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Good day on the Gulf Coast of Florida. 🎈💕😎Oodie I left your Birthday Greetings
at the top because I want your husband to see it you had mentioned that in your post
from last night.I am so glad you liked it. I knew you and Ethel Merman celebrated the day. 💕🎈😎
I will never forget as I worked with her a long time ago and wore her fabulous Mink
Coat we had so much fun. What a woman she seemed like my grandmother backstage
and when I went into the audiences the lady backstage was not the same she was a power
house on stage and blew the audience away with her voice. 😎🎈I knew it was a tiny
space in time but it’s one I will never forget she knew all the tea on everyone in Hollywood.
Happy Birthday Weekend Oodie and many happy and healthy returns. 🎈😎💕
I hope you and hubby have a nice meal together today. 😎
