I just returned home from visiting hubs. When I arrived found that he was in the dining room. He finally was served around 6pm. The food looked disgusting. Half the plate was baked beans. The other half consisted of overcooked spinach or kale (not sure which, but looked gross) and pulled pork. I happened to see the menu before I walked in. Dessert was strawberry ice cream in a small hoodsie cup. Following dinner my hubby’s face turned ashen. I asked if he was alright and he replied he was fine. I just did not like the way he looked. I brought him to his room and watched. An aide came in to make him comfortable and saw some stains on his sheet. Before he did anything, he left to retrieve some clean linens. He also had something as a disinfectant for both sides of the mattress. It took a few extra minutes, but worth it. Hubs was back in a hospital gown with clean sheets, blanket and his Sherpa blanket. I still did not like the way he looked, so ran out and notified the RN. She took his blood pressure and temp and also the oxygen level. She mentioned that his blood pressure was up. I have a feeling that the food did not agree with him, though having a taste of a soft cookie made him smile. The RN gave him some meds and he was fine a few minutes later. I am sure she will be checking on him before leaving when her shift is done.

When I left the rehab the temp was 52 and the wind was more than a breeze. By the time I reached our carport the temp was 50. We have a cold warning starting at midnight to 9am
tomorrow. Looking at the forecast we will be in the cooler weather for the next couple of weeks. There is also another storm brewing and this time Florida may see some snow. Our home in Ct. got 22 inches of snow. Winter will be here for awhile. Just remember how cold it gets now will determine how hot the summer will be. Geez…..

Good Evening I have to say that Lady sorry about your hubby could be all the outdoor
activity might have caused it. My husband too was out getting rid of show from our
sidewalk and driveway it was a job. 😎

So far he is just worn out we are still cold I hope the sun is out tomorrow.

Meanwhile my cats are all coming back and that makes me feel good. 💕

Here is something for that cold this should do the job.

I was concerned that your electricity was off and your pipes froze. We will be experiencing some record lows tonight with the wind bringing in 20 degrees with the chill factor. I am wearing a turtle knit sweater and will add a sweatshirt later. I may bring that warm robe with.me. Like you,. I will be making chicken soup for hubs and myself. Nothing like a.little warmth to make the day brighter. The morning started at 71 degrees. It is now in the low 60s. Not sure what the temp will be when I return.home. stay safe and warm.

Power is on and the worst is over, got about a foot of snow. Got our driveway plowed early this morning. Hubs usually does it with the snowblower but just too much this time. After all the road plowing, the snow was up to our mailbox. Our road is fine, not sure about the others. Staying in today and will probably venture out tomorrow.👍

Hubs having a relapse with the cough and sinuses. I’m getting tired of all the sound effects.🤧 We are definitely on the same wavelengths – just made some tea and we are having cheddar broccoli soup for dinner.🧀🥦
