Looks like our bathroom may be getting a few changes on Friday. The person scheduled to do the work phoned yesterday morning and apologized for Friday. He actually had no idea that he was supposed to start Friday afternoon. His explanation showed me that the owners did not share anything with the staff and those who would participate in the demolition and rebuild. The contractor said he was never told that my hubs is confined to a wheelchair. He now understood why I said a glass partition of sorts to prevent water on the tiled floor was important. A shower curtain could in fact be a disaster. He also mentioned that the vanity would be here in a couple of weeks at which time I told him how much I detested it. It looked like pieces of wood thrown together. No structure. Not even close to a style. There are four drawers. All are close to the floor which makes it a difficult situation for hubby when he is in a wheelchair. I can just imagine him tipping over getting to the bottom drawer. Not a good picture. Yes, I am happy about getting the work done, however, I will still get an attorney in case I need extra help and other things later.

Today I had my hair done. I feel like a renewed person. I didn’t see hubs today, but did yesterday. He must have heard my voice because as I walked to the hallway leading to his room, there he was coming out of the TV room all smiles. I had to look twice. I saw, for the first time in months, hubs looking so radiant and happy. There was no sign of dementia anywhere and so far this week, it is nice having him back. I still say that most of this is due to not getting the vitamins and minerals he needs. Guess my making the necessary phone calls has helped. Now, back to moving things around.

Weather here is a bit cooler. Temps tonight will be in the low 50s. At the moment it is 63 as I ty;pe. We will be enjoying a cool down the rest of the week. No precipitation in sight. Temps will be in the mid 60s to low 70s with 50s nightly. I am prepared to layer.

Sorry about the Chiefs. At least the next few games will be just that. Games. At least it will be less stressful. We sometimes have to feel like the underdog in order to kick up our heels and go on.to do our best. Have a wonderful evening. Hope the kitties are OK.

I hope your mom will do well tomorrow and her wrist has healed.

craycray too early for all of this cold and snow.

Sheba, Dec 9th already. December is moving along.
Those Prestige Jewelry boxes always call to me because I love seeing the items in the box and organizing everything. The cream colored 3 drawer style is my favorite. I bought it about a year ago.

Good afternoon to you. Sun this morning, dreary this afternoon. Mix of rain/snow all day tomorrow. Just hope I can get out of my driveway to meet mom at the doc’s.

Kind of a slow day, stayed in and did a few things around the house. Leftovers for dinner.
