I am so sorry the contractors did not work out I think communication and good ones
at that are the best way to keep good customers. How rude not to contact you and let
you know the were not available that day due to unforeseen issues with family. Still a simple

The people I was trying to use had a 5 star rating. The owner definitely knew how to plan a bathroom for a disabled person in a wheelchair. The first problem was to get someone out to do the measurements. That took quite awhile due to health and sulfites and the other person getting Covid. Finally, someone did come out, but was a newbie. He worked with a contractor who was never introduced to me. The end result was that I couldn’t have a glass partition, only a shower curtain would suffice. All I could think of was hubby in a shower and the shower curtain becoming entangled in the back wheels of his chair. There would be nothing to feel until it was too late. I mentioned this to the owner and he agreed. I have a feeling that the owner never worked for anyone else. This supposedly is a family business. However, this was a second time of no show with the same excuse. It takes just a few minutes to either tell a receptionist or the secretary that you have a family emergency and to contact the people who had appointments that day. That never happened. I also had to contact them to find out when the bathroom would be measured and the steps that followed. I do have others in mind and will see how those will work out.

Hope you are feeling better. The weather here is sunny and the temp is 84 degrees as I type. We are expecting a cold front the middle of the week. Temps at night could be in the 50s and I'[m looking forward to that. I will add either a sweatshirt or a sweater to the tote I use when visiting hubby. I should be fine.

Sounds like you could be going through the new Covid. Sore throat, laryngitis, temp, and sniffles.
It is horrible, but unlike the first onslaught a few years ago, this one just makes you feel awful. Stay hydrated. Soup is definitely your friend. Put your feet up and have someone else take care of the critters.

I do not think I will be doing business with these remodelers. Not contacting me to reschedule or to tell someone in the office that you have a family emergency just didn’t sit right with me. I will be making a phone call tomorrow and then will try to line someone else up to do the job. This has been going on since March. I could have had not only this house done but the ones North as well. The entire job takes less than a week from start to finish. The one thing that will take some time is the bed for hubby, It takes a few weeks to deliver and setup. I definitely will get the complete measurements. This will help with my decision of the bedside tables and dresser. The one thing I’m trying to get rid of is clutter. So far I have managed to have one cabinet entirely emptied in the kitchen. That one cabinet will be great for storing the thermos things and then some. I still need to finish the other side of that room. Things are still on the floor and on counter tops. That’s it for now. Take care of yourself and hubby also. Good night. Pleasant dreams.

Good Evening I am sorry I don’t have any of those symptoms. My voice is clear and crisp.
I no temp none of the above. I have had Covid and knows exactly what it feels like.
All I have are sinus issues which is nothing new for me. The weather change overnight
and I just woke up with the sniffles I took my meds and I feel fine now. 💕😎🎈

If I had any Covid or other issues I would be in the ER. I would not even do the thread
and I have done the thread under other dire illness.

I have fed four cats today and tonight Oz is alright tonight. I hope you are too Oodie. 🎈😎

Sorry if I offended you. It’s just that this strain of Covid is nowhere like the first one. Sounds crazy. Different symptoms and does not last as long. There were quite a few patients at the Rehab who caught it and were quarantined immediately. I wore a mask upon entry and took it off in hubs room. And speaking of hubby. He is still on puree but with chewable veggies and fruit. Tonight he had string beans on a soft roll. He was all smiles with the roll. It was the first time in months that he was able to enjoy it. Yes, he still coughs a bit. But when he eats like a cat there are no concerns or problems. His problem at the moment is his upper teeth which are implants. I will contact the social worker in the afternoon. He needs to remove the teeth and clean the posts. I will take care of the teeth upon arrival.

I made some progress on the house. Found tons of emptied boxes and they are now in the recycle bin for tomorrow. All boxes for donation have a “D” on the box. I have discarded all the Teflon and added the stainless from Wolfgang. Also added hex glad to the mix as well. I am starting to see that there is a light at the end of a long tunnel in the kitchen. Next will be the Master and both walk-in closets will be completely emptied and thoroughly cleaned. Not sure if I will lower the garment pole in hubby’s closet. I have a hook that he can use that attaches to a hanger and thus he can get his own clothing. I also purchased two metal racks (origami) that when put together will be for shoes.

I am again watching the tropics. Looks like there are two in the Atlantic. One could be headed for the Gulf.

Good Morning I am glad I scrolled down today. Oodie you did not offend me in any
way. I am just glad I feel fantastic today. 😘😎🎈I knew this would happen to me
and my husband had a touch of cold too. Hubby is at work doing his thing.💕

I did have soup and ginger ale took my meds and last night when I was posting to
everyone it was gone. I appreciate you informing me of the new Covid Strain I am
aware of it and I hope and pray I never get it again. I do mask up! I am still under the
care of my Oncologist. I go through everything in December and hopefully off the
meds. 💕

Tis the reason if I had Covid I would have been in Urgent Care or depending on my body
ER. Yeah I had that happen one year. This was Flu Season I was watching a football game
with my SIL on the phone all of a sudden out of no where I told her goodbye I did not
feel well and went to bed. I stayed in bed one hour and woke my husband up to tell him
to take me to the ER. Oodie it was a good thing I did I had H1N1 Flu Strain. The ER Doctor
had to give me an IV of Fluids. What happened next was not fun he told me they were out
of the medicine Tamaflu. The Hospital was packed that year with Flu patients he also informed
me according to the test I had it for exactly 24 hours and it was good I came to ER.

Next he informed me to get the Tamaflu filled tonight or I would feel worse in the morning
hubby and I found a CVS Pharmacy we were aware was open 24 hours. I took the pill before
I left the Pharmacy came home and went to bed. 😎That pesty little pest did not take long
to clear up but had I not went to ER and had the IV I could have been worst off.

Bottom line I don’t play with my health. I do take some good Andrew Lessman’s Supplements
and that keeps me on my toes everyday. 😎💕🎈

I will post at the top I just wanted you to know all is well. OZ is in the 60’s and I am bundled
up with a jacket. 💕😎

Lost her voice, slight temperature, congestion, etc.🤒 She says she sounds worse than she feels but she hasn’t left the house since Wednesday. I know it’s sinus related and the quick mother nature change. I have meds my doctor
prescribed for me when this situation comes up. I have had Covid and I went straight
to the doctor where they put me on some strong medicine because I have pre-existing
conditions. I snapped out of Covid within days just had a couple of bad days. 😎🎈

Sounds like your sister may have the new strain of Covid. It is extremely catchy. Someone on her cruise probably had it. It spreads like wildfire. But it’s not as bad as the first strain. You just feel awful. I had it a few weeks ago. Not pleasant, but it is doable.

Good Evening I have one more cat to feed and I am done. I am going to watch one of
my mother’s movies on TCM this movie is called Lead Her To Heaven. This has
Gene Tierney, Cornel Wilde and Jeanne Crain. My mother was a young kid when this
came out barely in Kindergarten. 😎

Please be careful this weekend. I heard some of the news concerning the weather. Be safe.

Hubby seemed to be asleep when I walked into his room. But, I guessed wrong. He greeted me with a huge smile. I have to admit that he has a nice roommate who is very talkative. They share a good conversation on a daily basis. Dinner arrived close to 5:30 pm. He had macaroni for the first time in months and one other side dish that was not pureed. He also had another item that was pureed. He left it. The other side dish was cut up fresh fruit. He was in heaven. There was no dessert. I am hoping that the aides will take care of this after I left.

Before leaving I ordered dinner out from the pizza place near us. The food is awesome and they do make the best corden bleu chicken pizza. I also order ed an antipasto salad. It was enough food to feed an army. Guess I won’t need to cook in the next two days. I contacted the pizza place just a few minutes ago to thank them for the meal. It also included garlic bread. A real nice treat that I didn’t finish. Guess that garlic bread will need to wait until tomorrow night. I am so stuffed and so blessed.
