Good day on the Gulf Coast of Florida. 🎈😎I am glad you got some good rest.
Seems like doing our house work never ends.

Oz is very hot today it is hotter now than it was in July. 😎The A/C is on and I mean
to be comfortable. LOL!

Hubby was out water the plants and flowers he brought out the big guns the long and large
water hose. We will be super hot tomorrow too.

No rain in sight for a few more days.

about the Cat I can only hope the others will follow her lead. 💕

The new kitty had a great way to say thank you for the meal. She may end up in your house at some point, but, she may have a home and just happened to make a stop.

I didn’t visit hubs today, but will go early tomorrow. I actually needed this time to put things together in case we have a hurricane in a week to ten days from now. The Gulf Coast looks to be the spot the weather people are watching. Hubby will probably end up in Orlando at one of the sister rehabs. The back part of their building faces the Manatee River which has a tendency to overflow it’s banks. However, the area that hubby is in does not get flooded, but they evacuate the entire building anyway. What I do not like is that the families are not notified of the move nor can they contact the rehab. Everything is turned off. There are three sister rehabs in Orlando. You can contact them, however, getting info is something else.

The picture of the ocean yesterday was beautiful. However, at low tide you have more sand area with people bringing their chairs down to the water’s edge. Parking is at a premium and you do need a car sticker to use them. Parking is from 9am to 7pm.. The season runs from April 1st to the end of November. Three years ago the stickers were priced at $160 per car and that was for one town on the Cape. However, with the seal population expanding in Chatham (about 8-10 miles from our home) and more sharks showing up, makes our bay area more dangerous. Still I miss the smell of the ocean and the sea breezes.

We are feeling the start of autumn. Temps are below 85 and the humidity is low also. Looks like the rest of the week will be low to mid 80s. Very little chance for rain.

I did purchase a necklace from Heidi. Could not resist “Breakfast with Heidi.”

This scene reminds me of the Bay side of the Atlantic on the Cape. It is one of our beautiful beaches and for some reason it is names “Cold Storage.” At low tide, you can walk at least a half mile out without a problem. The ocean is below the waist and the sand is silky with no stones or rocks. There are plenty of sandbars where you can sit and ponder or just daydream. Yes, we both miss it. Maybe some day, soon.

I ventured out yesterday and made it to the Rehab. Hubby asked why I didn’t call him. I had to remind him that there is no phone in his room. I would bring his cell, but I’m so scared that it could be stolen. He isn’t careful with his things and that could be because he cannot get out of bed to check the nightstand.

I have the second load in the wash. The other is in the dryer. I made some progress today. I also started putting things away in the carport which is opened on one side. Thankfully, all the new plants are in that area and are giving me some privacy. They are thriving from all the rain. The flowers have a nice aroma.

I was concerned yesterday driving to the rehab. Fortunately there were no puddles or flooding on route. Returning was a blessing with no rain, though we did have some in the wee hours. Not sure about seeing the moon tonight, but will check when I return home.

Oodie you are right his phone will vanish into thin air. Hubby and I were at
the Apple Store and on our way we found a nice Iphone someone had dropped it.
My husband took it into the store stat I am sure someone was looking for their phone.

Oz is very humid tonight and I have some good Perlier Bath and Body Products I will
be using. I am running back and forth feeding the animals. 💕

I think I may have another cat but this cat let me rub her belly hmm..😎💕

You were right. I was asleep when you typed, and I was in bed, not at the computer. 😀😀😀

That new kitty either belongs to someone or could be a stray. However, he must have had a home at one point and enjoys the stomach rub. He/she should be there when the other cats are around. The petting will show the other cats how nice it is and may even ask for the same. This could be the beginning of new friendships.

I didn’t see hubby. Instead I needed to put a dent into the house. I have now really begun to watch the tropics. Looks like there may be something brewing mid week and I need to start putting things together. This is the reason why I was working in the carport. I need to move things into the lanai. Light weight items could blow away and ruin someone’s window, dent a vehicle, or hit a person. I also question the new plants and may bring them closer to the house., though the planters are a good size. Still, I rather be safe than sorry later.

A jigsaw on Kindle beckons me. I need some more of that beauty sleep. I did check outside. Too cloudy to see anything. No moon or a starlit sky. Rain is expected in about two hours. The rest of the day will be dry. Tomorrow is another story. Oh well. We are still in a drought situation.

The A/C tech was here today and stayed over an hour to make sure that the heat for winter was maintained. He installed the new bulbs for the motion detector. The light near the front door will need new wiring, so I let that pass for now. Last night, while rummaging for light bulbs, found a box of bulbs that you walk with. I think that will serve the purpose. And last, yes the thermostat can be relocated.

Did not see hubby today, but notified the receptionist and she will pass the news on to the RN and aides. I will try to be there tomorrow. I had very little sleep last night and thus the reason. I didn’t want to fall asleep on the return trip since I am the driver.

Tomorrow is recycle and garbage. I will wait another week on the recycle. Garbage is ready. I do not dare leave it out overnight. Will do it at morning light.

Have a great night. Enjoy the moonlight. We have too much cloud cover at the moment. May need to wait until the weekend to see the starlit sky.

I stayed in today. Decided to take it easy after feeling miserable for a couple of days. The A/C Tech will be here tomorrow morning for the 6 month checkup. Since I am afraid of heights, he will change the outdoor lightbulbs and ones for the ceiling in the hallway. All others are good. Also will check the fire alarm as well as air. I have a feeling that we may need more up-to-date ones.

I contacted the social worker at the Rehab yesterday. He said that he cannot request more food for hubby. That is up to the RN. I also inquired about snacks. Again he said that was up to the RN though hubby could request them. Meanwhile I find him with shaky hands. I hope I can get to the rehab tomorrow after the tech leaves. I have not heard from the remodelers. Will make another call in the AM.. Oh hum….so what else is new????

Good Evening I am a bit confuse since when to Nurse have that kind of medical
knowledge as to what can and cannot eat? I call BS all of this with the food.

If it were my loved one I would raised all kinds of you know what. 😎

Heck it’s not cheap for him to stay there and maintain three different homes.
I think that decision should be made by his Physician. The shaking of his hands
mean his Glucose is low and he needs food.

I don’t want to worry you with this but something is not right with the food situation.
I am sure you can handle it. 😎

Sheba, the Happy Tuesday flowers are so bright and pretty. It sounds like your daughter has a great career and in a fun industry. She must love her travels plus meeting interesting people. It’s great when you enjoy your work. My career was stressful, fast paced but mostly ok. I became a tooth grinder and clincher and thus the damage to some teeth.
It was good to know where the cats are living. Makes things easier. In my mind they were in the cold in a woody area. Well,cold in winter. We aren’t going to any of the places your neighbors are visiting. I hope they have a great time.

Yeah the cats do come from the Wooded area and so does every other
critter. LOL!

The next door neighbor has a wooden deck and it is perfect for hiding.
All I do is look out of my kitchen window and I can call out to them. 😎

At night with the security light I can see them. I have four of them I am feeding
and a baby possum. 💕🎈😎 I build things for them in the winter to keep warm.
I want so bad to bring them in but they will not come in. I hope the Woods do not
send any more critters for a while.
