COLLECTOR CAR APPRECIATION DAY

Each year in on the second Friday in July we celebrate Collector Car Appreciation Day. This day recognizes the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society.

ALL AMERICAN PET PHOTO DAY

All American Pet Photo Day encourages pet owners to share their favorite pet photos on July 11. Be sure to charge your camera and be prepared to take adorable pictures of your pets!

NATIONAL FRENCH FRY DAY

On the second Friday in July, we recognizes an American favorite known as the French fry on National French Fry Day.

Live Aid was a pair of simultaneous benefit concerts held on July 13, 1985, to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia. Organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure, the concerts took place at Wembley Stadium in London and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia. Live Aid featured a star-studded lineup of musicians and was broadcast globally, reaching an estimated 1.5 billion viewers. The event raised over $245 million and is considered a landmark in humanitarian efforts through music.

Sheba, Almost at the end of another week. A woman hiking in Ojai had a close encounter with a Mountain Lion on the trail. Her experience is similar to my Bob Cat as the animal seemed curious and headed towards her. She was very Lucky. We think we have seen a Mountain Lion once ( but it stayed far away) when we were about 2 hours away on a hike that is all uphill and connects with the Pacific Coast Trails. Where I live there is too much building going on and its encroaching more than ever.
Heidi Daus added the Sun Queen Crystal Chain Necklace to HSN. It’s gorgeous but I’m holding off as 3″inches is big for me for the pendant, but I know the Heidi girls will love its size.

Hi and good evening. Temp is in the mid 80s, but it was high 90s when I left for the rehab. I decided to leave earlier rather than making a stop at Aldi’s or Costco. Tomorrow, definitely Costco. This week is just flying by. Hubby has a new roommate. He is only here as an overnight and will return home tomorrow. Nice gentleman. I didn’t see hubs yesterday. I decided to pay bills and try to make a dent in the KP duties. I also managed to check out Amazon. I splurged on an outdoor rug and vacuum. Sorry HSN. There were tons of reviews on the vacuum. All were 5 stars. The outdoor rug will go with us when we return North. Vacuum also. Showed hubby what I purchased. Gave me the thumbs up.

I purchased a few books as well. Anne Hillerman is continuing where her dad left off. He was one of the first storytellers that perked my interest in mysteries. His stories, for the most part, take place on the Navajo reservations in Arizona. It was like being there all over again. Sedona is one of my favorite areas. At the time I was there it wasn’t as touristy as it is today. The scenery held my breath. But, the ride to the Navaho reservation was even more breathtaking especially with the mountains in the background. It was fortunate that we were there when the tourists were no where to be seen. It made the adventure even more advantageous and what a blessing it was to meet and greet the people and learn part of their history. This part of their history was at their museum. I surmise that someone had made a phone call because I was probably ooing and eyeing too much. There were quite a few people outside when we left. We plopped ourselves down and listened. At the end they gave us trinkets to remember our time. And, yes, I still have them. Memories are so golden now. And Arizona, a beautiful State that is immersed in so much natural history and beauty.

I do watch the jewelry shows and beauty shows and depends on the day and what
is featured I watch Marla Wynne and own a lot of her pieces. I love G. 😎 Anthoney
is a hoot and very entertaining. 🎈I enjoy and nothing will change that.

I don’t have a host I do not like not one. Hey it’s all good this is life. 🎈😎I am not
