Conversation – 31

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread.
This is number 31 out of the of the series.
I created and started this thread over 11 years. 😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

NATIONAL AI DAY
Today is July 16 on the National Day Calendar and we are acknowledging the remarkable progress and pervasive influence of Artificial Intelligence on National AI Day. Join the conversation about responsible integration into society and recognize how AI is shaping our world.
Artificial Intelligence has been around longer than people realize. In fact, the idea of AI started in 1950 when Alan Turing published “Computing Machinery and Intelligence” and presented the question of whether a machine could “think for itself.” In 1951, Marvin Minsky and Dean Edmonds created one of the first artificial neural networks (SNARC). By 1952, Arthur Samuel developed a checkers-playing program that could learn from its own experience, proving that machines could learn from their mistakes.
John McCarthy coined the term “artificial intelligence” in 1956 while at the Dartmouth Summer Research Project on Artificial Intelligence. John, along with several other researchers interested in the project, gathered to create systems that could mimic the thought process of humans, including solving problems and improving learning. The research project brought some of the brightest minds in computing and cognitive science at the time.

Good evening I am glad I came back and saw your post. Very sorry you could not see
your husband due to the weather. I would have done the same thing. Hey better safe
then sorry. 💕🎈We are very warm tonight in OZ and I am giving the cats extra food and water.
I could not believe the rain in New York City. The people on the Subway had a lot
of water to deal with. OZ will get her fair share of rain soon. Here is your moon and stars for tonight. 💕

That’s What Friends Are For
Song by Dionne WarwickAnd I never thought I’d feel this way
And as far as I’m concerned
I’m glad I got the chance to say
That I do believe I love you
And if I should ever go away
Well, then close your eyes
And try to feel the way we do today
And then if you can remember
Keep smiling, keep shining
Knowing you can always count on me, for sure
That’s what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I’ll be on your side forever more
That’s what friends are for
Well, you came and opened me
And now there’s so much more I see
And so by the way I thank you
Whoa and then for the times when we’re apart
Well then close your eyes
And know these words are comin’ from my heart
And then if you can remember, oh
Keep smiling, keep shining
Knowing you can always count on me, for sure
That’s what friends are for
In good times, in bad times
I’ll be on your side forever more
Oh, that’s what friends are for
Whoa oh-oh
Keep smiling, keep shining
Knowing you can always count on me, for sure
That’s what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I’ll be on your side forever more
That’s what friends are for
Oh-oh
Keep smiling, keep shining
Knowing you can always count on me, that’s for sure
‘Cause I tell you that’s what friends are for
For good times and for bad times
I’ll be on your side forever more
That’s what friends are for
(That’s what friends are for)
(Ha-ha, yeah)
On me for sure
I don’t need for sure
I don’t need for sure
That’s what friends are for
Keep smiling, keep shiningOodie keep cool and comfortable tonight as we both know tomorrow is another day. 💕😎😘

Sounds like you are experiencing what we had over the weekend. Our temps over the past week and weekend were in the high 90s. However, when you factor in the Humidity and dewpoint, it all adds up. Thank goodness for the A/C.. I remember the sign on my dad’s entrance door to the pharmacy and the retail side. There was a picture of a penguin and to the right: “Come In, It’s cool inside.”
I didn’t see hubby today. I was afraid to go out and about due to the warnings of rain and flash flooding on roads. Of course we had sunshine throughout the day. But, I did get more accomplished. Tomorrow, a different scenario. Beauty appointment. Of course it will probably be a rain out day. And since the appointment is one mile to the Farmer’s Market………LOL…. I will be able to do a complete tour of the market instead of the take out area. Time for fruit and veggies and other good things. I hope to bring some goodies to hubby. He really misses his apples. He forgets that the apples are hard to swallow. That was the one thing that made him cough. This I will definitely puree after removing the skin.
Have a great evening. Too cloudy tonight to see the moon and the stars. Oh well.

come in but none of them will tomorrow we will be around 104. Sheesh!Sweet Dreams. 😎💕
