Conversation – 31

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread.
This is number 31 out of the of the series.
I created and started this thread over 11 years. 😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Misty Copeland changed ballet forever.
For 25 years, she’s been a groundbreaking force at American Ballet Theatre—a dancer who didn’t just perform beautifully, but made history in every step.
In 2015, Misty became the first Black female principal dancer in ABT’s 75-year history. It wasn’t just a promotion—it was a moment that sent shockwaves through a world where dancers who looked like her had long been told “no.”
She turned it into a “yes” for generations to come.
And now, she’s preparing for her final performance with ABT: October 22, 2025, at the David H. Koch Theater. Misty will dance Romeo and Juliet one last time, sharing the stage with her longtime partner, Herman Cornejo.
“It’s time to move to the next stage,” she says.
But Misty’s story doesn’t end at curtain call. Through the Misty Copeland Foundation, her writing, producing, and mentoring, she continues to lead—to uplift, inspire, and clear new paths.
She redefined what was possible in ballet.
Now she’s redefining what legacy looks like. -

Connie Francis – Where The Boys Are
Where the boys are, someone waits for me
A smilin’ face, a warm embrace, two arms to hold me tenderly
Where the boys are, my true love will be
He is walkin’ down some street in town, and I know he’s lookin’ there for me
In the crowd of a million people, I’ll find my valentine
And then I’ll climb to the highest steeple and tell the world he’s mine
‘Til he holds me, I’ll wait impatiently
Where the boys are, where the boys are
Where the boys are, someone waits for me
‘Til he holds me, I’ll wait impatiently
Where the boys are, where the boys are
Where the boys are, someone waits for me -
