Conversation – 31

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread.
This is number 31 out of the of the series.
I created and started this thread over 11 years. 😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Keep it safe and cool out there.

NATIONAL GET OUT OF THE DOGHOUSE DAY
Occasionally, we all need a free pass. National Get Out of the Doghouse Day on the third Monday in July offers the fast track home we all need once in a while.
-

NATIONAL LAMINGTON DAY
July 21 is National Lamington Day on the National Day Calendar. This delicious food holiday celebrates Australia’s most famous culinary icon, the Aussie lamington. Today, we are encouraging people to try lamington while spreading the word about this tasty cake.
-

NATIONAL JUNK FOOD DAY
July 21 dedicates a giant menu of items to National Junk Food Day. This day permits us to chow down on the foods we usually don’t include in our daily diet.
-

NATIONAL BE SOMEONE DAY
On July 21, National Be Someone Day challenges each of us to take ten seconds to make a difference in a child’s life.
What can you do in ten seconds? We can shift gears or water a plant. We can hear or tell a bad joke. In ten seconds, we can change our minds, and after doing so, say a prayer of thanks. When we walk into a room, in that time, we can register the pain in someone’s eyes and begin to provide comfort. We can praise and honor someone who deserves it.
We can also commit to reporting child abuse. On July 21st, take the pledge to be the person to make a difference in a child’s life. Most importantly, be someone prepared to report when a child trusts you enough and tells you they are experiencing abuse. Ten seconds can change a child’s life.
