It is very cloudy and humid. Guess the Strawberry moon will not be seen tonight. More of the same for tomorrow. Oh well.

I decided to stay home tonight and tried to reach the rehab to no avail. Seems the people at the desk no longer stay until 7 pm. I actually tried to call before 5 pm. I actually need to do some serious cleaning before the measurements are taken for the new bathroom. I suspect that the decorator will be out sometime next week to do that and also will bring some samples. Meanwhile, received an e-mail and voice mail that our new frames and lenses are ready. I will need to coordinate with the social worker to set up a time for hubby to be fitted. The entire process should take just a few minutes.

I cannot wait until everything is done and hubby is home. I am also looking at the other rehab facility that is 20 minutes from us to see if there is any way feasible for hubby to be a patient. I have heard good things. They have the State of the art equipment along with a pool which I felt would give hubby a new experience in a good way. They also have orthopedists on the premises with new ideas and treatments. At least I would have some idea of what is going on and what I can do to help.

The book is extremely interesting and is written in the first person. It’s a great read. Amazon may have a way for you and everybody else to read a chapter or two. Even the cookbooks have a way to look inside. I remember years ago when hubby and I visited New York City, we would take a subway to the Barnes & Noble Annex. I think it was on 16th Street. The store was huge and we would spend hours picking up books that pertained to our jobs along with novels. All were priced real low. This was before the luggage had wheels. We had one of those carryalls that had two wheels and folded into nothing. We always traveled to New York that way and brought a bungee cord just in case. Funny how often that bungee cord came in handy. From Barnes and Noble we walked to the next subway station. Got off at Times Square and picked up another subway for Chinatown and dinner and more shopping. One shopping expedition required an extra cart. No problem. Plenty of places between Chinatown and Little Italy to bargain .So much fun.
